When he was sure no one was around Bumblestripe quickly made his way out of ThunderClan camp out into the forest.
It was already halfway through the day when he decided to head out to ShadowClan. Currently, there was a patrol over by the WindClan border which should hopefully mean that all the attention will be directed near there instead of the ShadowClan border.
With each paw-step he took closer to the border, the more anxious he felt.
Eventually he arrived, it was clear that the borders had been marked recently but no one had actually come here for a while. Taking a deep breath Bumblestripe took a step into ShadowClan territory. Trying to stay as far away as possible from any sort of noise that could attract attention.
Just when he thought he was safe, he was slowly starting to hear the sound of voices moving closer and closer to him. Before Bumblestripe had time to react Tawnypelt and Stonewing emerged from the shadows.
Bumblestripe started to take a few steps backwards until Tawnypelt had spotted him.
"Bumblestripe?" Tawnypelt mewed. "What are you doing in Shadowclan territory?" She stared at him with a threatening yet peaceful glare. Stonewing stood beside her, not talking but clearly planning how to attack him.
"I must speak with Tigerheart." Bumblestripe replied. Trying his best to stay calm in front of the two ShadowClan warriors.
"Pardon?" Tawnypelt looked at him, confused by his words.
"What makes you think you can just walk into our territory and expect us to comply with whatever you're planning!" Stonewing suddenly mewed.
"Please Tawnypelt." Bumblestripe pleaded. Ignoring Stonewings words. "I'm afraid it's urgent. I won't be long at all"
Tawnypelt looked back and forth between him and Stonewing. Eventually, she let out a sigh and fully turned her attention back to Bumblestripe.
"Alright fine, follow me"
Stonewing looked at Tawnypelt perplexed as if she had just agreed to the worst idea in the world.
The walk to the ShadowClan camp was extremely awkward. No cat said a word. Just the occasional snapping of a Twig. Stonewing's glare never left Bumblestripe throughout the whole trip.
Bumblestripe had never felt more anxious and relieved by the time they had reached Shadowclan camp.
Taking a look around he spotted Tigerheart talking to a couple of apprentices. After a couple seconds Tigerheart turned around and noticed Bumblestripe standing at the other side of camp staring back at him.
Tigerhearts eyes widened and he slowly started making his way over to where Bumblestripe was sitting. Tawnypelt and Stonewing still stood by his side clearly still not trusting the Thunderclan warrior.
"Tawnypelt, Stonewing" the brown tabby greated the two warriors. "You may go now. Bumblestripe means no harm"
The two other ShadowClan warriors looked back and forth between each other before leaving the two cats alone.
"What are you doing here!? I'm surprised that they didn't rip your ears off before coming here!" Tigerheart mewed.
"I want you to meet me by the halfbridge tonight. It's important" Bumblestripe replied.
The Thunderclan tom then turned to where Tawnypelt and Stonewing were sitting. "You two can take me back now" he mewed. Leaving Tigerheart in shock.
