A Raft

**Chappy one- A calm group**

(A/N- A story based on the game Raft.)

Lizzy was sitting on the raft dangling her legs in the cold water and she watched Rivera pull random stuff out of the ocean. All of a sudden Rivera noticed a fin dive under water at around 10 feet away "SHARK!" She screamed and Lizzy looked for the creature and stayed as she was.

Rivera pulled out her spear and threw it at the approaching shark barely touching the creature. The shark dragged Lizzy under the water and ended up leaving her floating at the top as it had drained her hp. Rivera hopped in the water and pulled Lizzy out onto the raft as fast as she could and put her on the bed, looking at a man laying on the other side, still healing.

Rivera sighed as she continued pulling wood and metal out of the water to craft a spear for Lizzy and the male. She heard a crunch from the small patch off leaves and she turned around to see a shadow as they grunted and walked out of the small house type hut they were in.

"Michel?" (Mike-el) She asked with her rough voice from screaming earlier. "What happened Riv?" The male asked Michel "Well, we have a very friendly shark now" she said with a small giggle as she pointed to the angry looking Shark "What happened to Lizzy?" He asked "The shark happened" she sighed and sat on a chair as she looked at the shark.

Michel walked over to Rivera and put a hand on her shoulder "We'll find them one day" he said referencing to other people "I hope" Rivera said as she leaned back in the chair and looked at the water as they shark had swam away.

(Thoughts)
Michel- I hope so one day too, if we don't find anyone else I wouldn't know what to do.
Rivera- Hmm, why is that shark staying around here now? Why didn't it come later. UGH! *holds head* I can't answer anything!
(Out of thoughts)

"Are you okay?!" Michel jumped and looked right a Rivera as she held her head "Yes, I'm ok," she said as she stood up "I'm just tired. I'm going to go take a nap" she sighed and walked away to the large patch of leaves "o-ok" Michel stuttered lightly and sat in the chair that Rivera was in originally.

Rivera lay down in the patch of leaves and looked at Lizzy "I hope your going to wake soon" she said and turned onto her other side, facing her back to Lizzy. Michel sighed and looked at his hands as he fiddled with his thumbs.

"The girls have done a lot since I was knocked out, I wish I could have helped" he said to himself as he stood up and walked over to the nest with seagull eggs in it and took one, placing it on the random somehow still working stove they had as he cooked it "How did they get this to work?!" He asked no one in particular as he fried the egg and sat down with it.

He ate the egg in one bite as he hadn't eaten in around 5 days from being knocked out. Michel looked at a net and threw it into the water, hoping to catch some fish, he walked over to the fresh water they had and drank around 5 bottles of good water (Aphmau/Raft reference). He was full of water and he looked at the net and pulled it in as fast as he could, cooking every fish in the net and he ended up eating all the fish.

~Sorry! Time skip~

Rivera woke up and pushed herself up, sweating and panting. She stood up and looked at the still knocked out Lizzy and walked out of the small building "morning!" Michel called as he waved and smiled at River as she walked over to him and sat down looking up at him "Hey, did you sleep last night?" She asked "no, but I managed to trap a shark!" He paused awkwardly "on accident" she looked at the net that was thrown on a thrashing shark "What?!" She screamed and pushed herself up looking at Michel.

"I threw the net out to catch some fish, but ended up catching a shark" he said awkwardly blushing as Rivera giggled "That's amazing!" She said with a smile. Rivera looked out at the shark "is the net stable?" She asked as she watched the thrashing shark.

"I don't know I found it in the box!" He yelled as the shark tired it's self out "Oh, then its fine!" She said and dived into the water and swam over to the shark. She looked at Michel "Grab the tracker from the chest!" She called as Michel did as he was told and threw it at her.

Rivera caught the device and put it in the shark, quickly swimming to the raft as she shark broke out of the net, looking quite ticked off as it started swimming swiftly towards Rivera. Michel quickly pulled Rivera onto him and they landed on the rafts floor. Rivera was dripping from the ocean water as they stayed in the awkward position, both blushing deeply. (A/N-Michel's hands on her shoulders as her hands pushed herself up in the air, her right knee/leg up by his hips as her other one was spread down, Michels legs up, his knees up in her stomach. Why did I do this part? I don't even know XD)

Rivera rolled onto her butt and moved the hair out of her face as she blushed "So-Sorry" she stuttered as Michel pulled himself to sit up. "I-it's not your fault, it's the sharks and mine" he said as Rivera giggled silently "only the sharks if we are going to speak like that" she said as Michel laughed.

Lizzy had woken and and stood in the doorframe as she looked at the two "What are we talking about?" She asked in her smooth British accent "Lizzy!" Rivera yelled and stood up and ran at the girl, hugging her as she started tearing up.

"We were laughing about the shark" Michel said as she walked over to Lizzy and the lightly crying Rivera.
