Hank went to work today and I had the day off. After cleaning the house and having nothing else to do, I took Sumo for a walk.

He really seemed to enjoy it as we walked over to a park nearby a school park. There were kids running around in excitement. Then when I passed kids cried out. "Dog!"

Then a swarm of children rushed over to me and Sumo. I scanned all of the children. Just all local children in the neighborhood. Nothing of a real serious issue with any of them now their families.

"Can we pretty your dog mister?"

"Yes. You may." I responded back and they all cheered.

"What a cute dog!"

"What a good boy!"

"What's its name?"

"Sumo," I responded as everyone cheered over the dog happily. I enjoyed their eager love for Sumo and Sumo loved the newfound attention from the children. For some time. Then he sneezed and shook his face. Having the children squeal in delight and try to interact with Sumo again.

"Guys, I'm sure the owner of Sumo can't outright say it once he allowed you to pet Sumo, but you need to give Sumo space."

"You would know that best (Y/n)!" A child sneered at the other. The children laughing alongside the other child.

He glared at them and stepped over to the others as they gave him space. "Shoo! You have a park! Go enjoy what you have!"

"Like our parents!" Another child yelled and everyone ran off giggling.

The child shook his head and then smiled, patting Sumo's head for a moment. Sumo licked his face and he started to giggle. "S-Sorry about them. They don't know when to leave a person, or a cool dog, alone. I hope that you enjoy your time with Sumo."

I scanned the little boy.

(Y/n)

Born: (M/n), (D/n), 2030

Occupation: Orphan at Susie's Orphan Care, Student

"(Y/n), correct?"

"Y-Yes, sir. What's your name?"

"My name is Connor, I'm the Android sent-I'm an Android."

"Cool. Luckily the others didn't know that. Some of their families hate Androids and that sadly gets to them as well."

"Well, you can't affect what those around you do or are."

"I don't think so." He stated in confidence and a bit dull.

I tilted my head. "Well, (Y/n), I hope you have a good day. And don't let anything the others say put you down. You're special and unique, you could tell Sumo was upset about the others before I was. And... coming from an Android, that's pretty amazing."

"Thank you, Mr. Connor. You have a good day as well! Bye!"

"Farewell."

"Woof!" Sumo barked and lightly waged his tail.

(Y/n)... maybe I should go talk to Hank about him soon. And find out why the poor little boy was so upset about what I told him.

I sat in the car as Hank pulled over to the building. I turned to him and asked, "Are you sure about this, Hank? I know that I would like to come here but-"

"Well, who's gonna take care of ya when I'm gone? Sumo? Didn't think so. Come on. Besides, if you want to find that person, then why the heck not?"
