He felt soft and very small hands tap his head...
Just a dream..
"n—niiii-chhaaannn!!!!!!!!!nii chaannn!!!uooowahhhhh!!!"
The hands kept on pushing him....and the sad voice kept on crying....
Wait nii-chan?
Osomatsu woke up startled and looked around to find that he was not at home.
Oh right !Ihe was at Professor Dekapan's lab.He asked him to wait here till Kara wakes up so that he can check on him.That's right..Kara...??
It was then he realised that his now five year baby brother was sitting on the bed and wailing in front of him.Tears were dripping down his round cheeks and he was rubbing his eyes with his little hands to hide the tears.
"uoowahhhhhh...!!!!"
Almost immediately he took his brother in his arms still wrapped with the oversized blue hoodie.His eldest brother's sense kicked in and he gently rubbed his brother's back to calm him down.
"hey there buddy ...why are you so sad?? Nii chan is here...tell nii-chan whats the matter?"
"uowahhh..!!"
Little Kara gripped his nii-san's clothes tightly and kept on wailing.
"Bad dream?"
Osomatsu could see his baby brother nod with his face still pressed against his shoulder.
"Monsters...??"
"UOOOWAHHHHHH...!!!"and the waterworks increased ten times more.
"hey hey don't worry.Nii-chan is here!Nii-chan will shoo away the monsters!!! Nii-chan is strong !"
"you believe your Nii-chan right??he will protect you"
Unable to respond Kara just nodded still clinging onto Osomatsu as if the monsters would come to get him the moment he would leave his nii-san.
Osomatsu stood up with his brother in his arms...still rocking him gently to stop his tears and soon the loud wails turned into sniffles.
"Oh Osomatsu-kun you both are awake??good I need to check on Karamatsu kun to see how much he remembers"
He felt the arms around his neck tightened and his brother's face pressed against his shoulder as he was trying his best to hide himself from the scientist.
Osomatsu smiled gently and rubbed his brother's back realising his baby bro's fear.
'hey hey its alright buddy...nothing is wrong ...he won't hurt you.Don't you remember him??He is the professor!he does magic and makes new things!!"
Kara turned to look at the professor.Professor Dekapan tried to put up his best smile to ease the child but as soon as he did the baby turned away again and pressed his face further against his nii-san's shoulders.
"hey its okay.. don't worry"
"It seems that he remembers only his brothers.It'll take time for me to formulate and make the reverse potion.Till then you have to take care of him like that Osomatsu kun" it hurt a little when the boy turned away.
"Don't worry professor it doesn't matter if he is a child or a big man he always will be my baby brother.See ya!"
"Goodbye Osomatsu kun"
The streets looked familiar as if he had saw them in a dream .He eagerly looked around to see various new things while he walked with his big brother who was holding his small hand so that he won't get lost..
He could hear the sounds of bell.He looked around to find children running to a van where a man handed them cones .
"osomachu nii chan!!!nii chan!!!"He pulled his brother's hoodie to get his attention.
"what is it buddy??"Osomatsu kneeled down to his brother's level to see him pointing to the van with sparkling eyes.
"oh you want ice cream??"
"unn!!"smiled Kara happily still pointing to the icecream van's direction eagerly.
"ok then nii chan will buy it for you"
"unn!!!"Kara happily hugged his nii-chan and Osomatsu picked him up.
Immediately Baby Kara wrapped his arms around his neck and gave a small kiss on Osomatsu's cheek.
"Thankuuu Osomachuu nii-chaan!!"
Osomatsu felt like he could pass out any moment. His brother was too cute for his soul to bear it.
Carrying his brother in his arms who was focused on his ice cream he happily started walking towards home all the way imagining the reaction of his brothers.
