It was a hot noon in Cien, the center of Augusta. People were so busy, selling goods and some other merchandise. It seems to be just a natural day if you look at the center, but in the outside, it is a different story. People were forced to work more than what they bodies can and the wages are very low. The government in Augusta never allowed anyone to learn more than what they want them to learn, knowledge are limited to they can see in Augusta. Some schools were burned and scholars were killed, everyone who has knowledge about the world outside Augusta was killed.
In a small town in the outskirt of Augusta, two boys are being chased by a merchandiser. They are the two troublesome set of bothers, Phil and Lucas. They're always doing pranks in the people around them."It's those two again, I need to catch them, it's emergency." The merchant shouted
"What have they done this time?" a random man asked. "They stole something" Said the merchant. "What! They would never do something like that." "Well, this time they did" the merchant replied. "I need to get that book they stole; it's the last copy of the world history book that I've been hiding for years" He said in his mind. "If somebody will ever notice of the book, those boys and I will be in danger."
The merchant was unable to catch up with them, but he remembered someone, someone those boys were afraid of, the person they considered father. He works near the train station as a cargo carrier. The primary living in Augusta is mining, and their father Ancio's job is to unload and reload the train with the products from the mining's. The merchant then went to the train station to talk to him. He couldn't find him, and he started to worry so much. He spent several hours looking for Ancio. The sun is about to set and he still haven't found him. Then suddenly a deep voice came from the back of his ear. "Marco, what are you doing in a place like this?" It was Ancio. He recognized that voice, a voice of an old friend. "Don't address me in that name, Marco has been dead for years" He replied. "Ancio, this is urgent, we need to hurry and rush to your place" He added. "Hold up, what is going on?"Ancio asked. "I'll explain everything to you on our way." The merchant replied. On their way Marco explained everything to Ancio the situation. They have to whisper while they talk because of the situation. "What did you say?" Ancio was really shocked. "Lower your voice, no one has to learn about this." Marco said. "You remember what happened to my family 12 years ago?" He added. "Look at me Ancio, are you teaching your boys about world history, the truth about Augusta and the rest of the world?" "No!" Ancio answered. "I have several books and they've found where I hid them, but they haven't learned everything yet." Ancio added. "What have you done Ancio, once those bastards from Cien learn about it; they won't stop until they got you killed. And the worst they will also kill those boys." Marco said. "We've been hiding for years, and are we still going to hide for the years to come? Ancio said. "What can we do Ancio? Tell me." Marco replied. "The walls around Augusto were there long before we're born, and nobody has ever seen the outside world since, and I think people have forgotten about the existence outside Augusta." Marco added. Silence has surrounded them for a minute, as they arrived to their village. "Those two boys will figure their way out and discover the world outside of Augusta." Ancio said. Then a fist landed to his face, a blow given by his friend. "What is that for?" Ancio asked. "You're a fool, haven't you got enough of being hunted down before? Marco said. "I'm tired of it, which is why I'm fighting against those bastards from Cein and find our way out of Augusta." Ancio said. Marco then gives him another blow. "I'll try to put some of my senses to your head Ancio, you have no idea how it feels to lose someone." Marco said. "You're wrong, you're wrong you're wrong!" Ancio shouted then punched Marco back. "I lost everything including my family just like you lost yours. Those boys also lost their family; they're just 5 and 2 when I found them 10 years ago." Ancio added. "Do you think they'll be in silence and not try to learn the truth?" Ancio added. "Will you let them lose another parent? Think about it Ancio." Marco said.
The village seems really quite, and it's really unusual. People were not in their houses and they started to worry about.
Ancio! Ancio! A man is running towards him; out of breathe and looks pale. "What happened?" Ancio asked. "You're house, it's being burned." The man said. Ancio and Marco rushes then as to their surprise. It was the general of Augusta's soldier; Simon Augustus and he have the two boys with him. The man has some conditions to say. " There will be no need for bloodshed, just follow my command." Simon said. Marco, Ancio, you'll have to surrender and you will be in prison. And as to these two boys, I'll take them and make them into a good soldier of Augusta.
