Chapter 2

"It's-" Kit pushed and sighed remembering what he had to do. "Actually, can you buy something to eat and come to my condo? I still haven't finished my assignment yet and I kind of need your help with it."

"Meung!" Beam yelled through the phone frustratedly before ending the call without saying anything.

"Ow..." Kit stared weirdly at his phone and chuckled to himself.  It was a pretty tiring day for Kit since he had to do a lot of works. He presented about a certain kind of flu for almost an hour which he literally just done it a night before. He ran everywhere because of unexpected events like when he totally forgot his papers at home only realizing when he got to class. Also, when he forgot his laptop in his class which is probably lost now since he was stupid enough to run to the boy at the back of the university instead of going back to retrieve his laptop.

He took a step into the hot shower releasing a happy sign unlike what he was feeling the whole day. His time management is getting out of hand because he procrastinated the whole week and now it is bitting him in the ass. Today is not even his worst day though, to be exact this is the forth day that annoyed him to no end. He had 3 more assignments to finished before deadline. He doesn't think he will be able to survive this week without losing his sanity.

Even with this craziness he has never once think about quitting his major. He knew he whined and complained a lot about it to Pha but he never actually meant any of it. In fact, he was  grateful that his friend managed to fool him into joining the medical department because if Pha didn't, he has absolutely no idea what he might be doing at this moment. This is one of the reason why he is delighted to have met such friends as Pha and Beam.

In the middle of cleaning his body there was someone banging loudly at the door and yelling his name, the voice sound alot like Beam, so he just ignored it and going back to do whatever he was doing.

"Ow! Ai Beam!" Kit screamed, while wrapping his arm around his torso moving his leg upfront to defend himself, seeing Beam sitting on his bed and also reading a manga who obviously already made himself at home. "How in the god of hell did you get in, ahhh?"

"Through the door, khrub" He answer unbothered. He didn't even look up from the book.

"I know. But how? I remember clearly that I locked the door before I went into the shower, ves." replied Kit.

"Enough of that. Tell me who took you home that you left without me?" Beam changed the direction of the conversation as if he has something to hide, which he clearly does because who just appeared in a locked room without any kind of access to Kit's room? He finally looked up from the manga but only to stared intensely at Kit supposedly looking for answers. He was without a doubt worrying about his friend's unknown disappearing.

"It was Ai'Forth." he revealed the name. Beam frowned at the name uncertainly on how to react. "I was running to class but I saw him on my way. He was acting sort of weird so I confronted him. I also meant to take him as my company to class because I was scared by going in alone. Who know he was an idiot and dragged me to his car." he mumbled the last part lightly to himself.

"Ow, then you didn't take back your laptop yet?" he looked at Kit questioningly. Kit shook his head and putting on his shirt. "I cannot believe you are this stupid, Ai Kit." he cannot help but insulted his friend due to his friend clumsiness.

"I am so not!" He defended himself helplessly. "Did you buy me any food?" he asked considering to at least he should get free food for being insulted.

Beam exhaled loudly at him to show his annoyance  "It is in the kitchen." but then added a sassy comment "Please look for it before you ask". Kit making his way to his kitchen, which is 4 steps away from his wardrobe considering his room  is a studio type so everything is only 4 to 5 steps away from each other, to look for his dinner.
