Madison's POV

The door squeaks open and Zane motions for me to step in ahead of him. I look up at him with pleading eyes for a quick second, but then fight the lump in my throat and step into the house. Within a second, Zane is beside me. 

"Its okay baby girl, they're nice." Zane says as a whisper. As if on cue, a dark haired boy with a bright sweater on looks up and smiles. I look at his scruffy face. Todd I think to myself as i recognize him from social media and some of the vlogs. 

"Hey! Guys, they're here!" Todd says quite loud. He then proceeds to walk over to Zane and I. "It's so nice to finally meet you..." he pauses, looking into my eyes almost asking me for something. I quickly understand.

"Oh! It's Madison, but everyone calls me Maddie." I say with a welcoming smile. Then, 3 boys and 2 girls walk into the room. I instantly recognize Heath, Jason, Corinna, Scotty, and Kristen. 

"Hey! Welcome to hell!" Scotty says, forcing a giggle out of me. Kristen walks up to me, giving me a hug. 

"It's so nice to finally meet you! I was starting to think Zane had been lying to us." She says with an obvious humor. She smelled of vanilla and her beauty intimidated me. 

"Honestly, it took me so long to pack up and get here. I didn't even really believe I was doing it until the plane landed. " I say confidently with a chuckle. 

"Well you're here now baby." Heath says, pushing Kristen aside to hug me. I had Face timed Heath a few times with Zane since the two were very close. He smelled of cigarettes and hugged me tight. Next, Jason shook my hand and gave me a simple yet nice welcome. Scotty just waved while looking across the room at me. I looked at Corinna who was on her phone paying no attention to me. I ignored it, even though i found it odd. Soon we all sparked up a conversation. For at least 30 minutes, we talked about a world of dumb things. I really liked Kristen's personality. 

"Did you invite Maddie to David's tonight?" Scotty questioned. I looked at Zane with confused eyes and waited for him to explain. 

"Actually, Scotty, no I did not do that yet. I planned on it but I figured I would do it when we were alone so she could be more comfortable." Zane said, clearly unhappy with Scotty. Zane has always been so sweet and understanding when it comes to my social issues. But, I made a promise to myself before getting on that plane. I was going to be more confident, or at least appear to be. These thoughts led to my quick response.

"Um, fuck yeah." I said, as if it was obvious. In all honesty, I wasn't even sure about the answer after it came out of my mouth.
