"How was school..." as soon as those trifling words left his mouth I knew I was in trouble again. I suddenly felt dizzy and empty, my heart-felt like it was dropping, controlled by invisible forces tugging it down. "what happened at school?" I know what he was trying to do, he was laying out a trap and he was hoping I would lie and say what do you mean; this had happened so many times know I could almost predict what he was going to say. So I give him a confused face to show that don't know what he is talking about and try acting innocent. sometimes, parents, would parents do surprise you and unfortunately, this was one of them."The teacher called me today and said you have a detention..." Whilst he kept and talking I quickly searched my brain for a suitable answer to give him." we will talk about this after I've picked up your sister." Yes, praise the lord I whisper to my self so my dad doesn't intentionally hear it. My little sister had given me extra time to think of an excuse."I'm home" My little sister shouted.
My heart suddenly skipped a beat, so surprised off how quickly dad had driven,I ran and his in the toilet locking the door. 5 minutes later... All I could here was my sister's feet stomping up the stairs...
10 minutes later, I could not hide in the toilet any longer. It was time to meet the beast.
Coming down the stairs as slowly as possible, I finally met the beast ploughed on the chair in the dinning room.
"why did I receive a phone call"
" It wasn't my fault I... "
"I don't care 3 months without any of your devices and 3 months washing dishes"
Shocked it had been a short conversation, I walked out dumbstruck.
