It was nerve-wracking, not only for Taehyung but also for Jeongguk. The news about it wouldn't appear until tomorrow, until then it's at least fourteen hours.
Mister Kim was now back in his chair in his office while the married couple paced up and down and discussed what had happened. "Boys, sit down. It was perfect, don't worry. However, there's one thing I would like to know and that is about Taehyung." He points to the chairs in front of his desk and watches as they both slowly sit down.
Taehyung looks at the CEO intently, waiting for what he has to ask.
Mister Kim checks his notebook and reads it through briefly before turning his attention completely to Taehyung. "What this reporter said about a man is really completely fictional? You can be honest with me, it was right to say no, no matter what the truth."
Taehyung shakes his head. "No, Jeongguk is my first in everything. So far, I've only ever dated girls." It's not that he didn't think about it on the way to the office, but he can't remember anything where he might have come close to outing himself. Taehyung is not the type to get drunk, a glass of wine or soju is usually all he drinks as he's not a big fan of strong alcoholic beverages. That night he got married was definitely something he won't repeat regarding alcohol consumption. The fact that he can't remember everything or almost nothing leaves him feeling very uncomfortable.
He is torn from his thoughts when Jeongguk nudges him. "Hey, are you okay?"
"Oh yes why?" Taehyung is confused, did he divulge something that he thought?
"Well, you just indirectly admitted that we... You know..." He points back and forth between the two of them, bites his lower lip and hopes the older understands what he means by that.
Taehyung's eyes widen, he looks at the CEO, who was now sitting there with a grin.
Then the older man relaxes his features. "Okay, that's enough for today, go to the studio for an hour and start practicing the song, then you can go home. Jeongguk bring Taehyung to your house safely."
The couple get up and leave the office. After a few minutes, Yoongi enters the room. "How did it go?"
-
They practiced a little until Hoseok, the dance teacher, came to them. "Hey Hoseok Hyung, good to see you. What brings you here?" Jeongguk gave him a quick hug and then smiled at him.
"I'm here to say hello to my new client, we haven't met yet, so I was curious about my new dance student." He turns to the tall, handsome man. "Hi, my name is Jung Hoseok and as I said, I'm your dance teacher for the time being." He bows briefly.
"Hi, I'm Kim Taehyung, it's an honor to meet you, I can't wait to start training." Taehyung bows longer and lower. The young man, probably older than himself, exudes a certain authority that he cannot describe.
Jeongguk giggles. "Let's see if you still think that way after an hour with him."
Before Hoseok could say anything he heard a scoff from Taehyung. "You think I am weak and have no stamina?"
Jeongguk smirks. "It's not like that, but we can bet it if you want."
Hoseok listens to the two with interest, he would like to take it easy with his newcomer. Let's see what Jeongguk has to lose as a result.
Taehyung laughs. "Okay, I'll accept the bet."
This statement suddenly brings back new memories in Taehyung. The reason they both got married became clearer.
He looks around the room. Jeongguk is discussing something with Hoseok, he's distracted and that's a good thing. Jeongguk hadn't noticed that he was in his thoughts. Taehyung reads the song text while he waits for his partner to finish the conversation and they can continue practicing.
"I'm sorry I interrupted you." Hoseok's voice makes him look up from the paper he's holding.
"It's okay, don't worry about that." Taehyung waves it off and notices Jeongguk coming closer to him.
"Are you ready, Tiger?" The idol initiates eye contact, holds it and sees Taehyung blush slightly.
"Y-yes, let's get started." Taehyung looks to the side, Jeongguk's eyes are beautiful and he could get lost in them. However, he doesn't want him to notice. Taehyung goes to the stereo and turns on the music, it's just the melody.
Jeongguk loves Taehyung's voice, it's deep and harmonizes perfectly with his own. He makes sure the older is the lead. In the end, he cannot hold back and finishes the song soulfully.
"Wow! You two sound really great together." Hoseok claps excitedly. "Even if it's not perfect yet, I can see that your collaboration will be a total success. People will love you."
It brings a proud smile on the faces of both of them.
"Thanks Hyung. I really hope that my fans like and support us together. We should take a rest now though, it was a long and stressful day, especially for Tae."
"Okay, have fun and we'll both meet again soon." Hoseok looks at Taehyung.
Jeongguk smirks. "Can't wait to watch you both do it."
Hoseok leaves the room first. Jeongguk licks his lips as he places his palms on Taehyung's hips. "You did so well, baby." He gives him a kiss, noticing that Taehyung is a little surprised. "Don't worry, this room has no cameras."
With a relieved sigh, the ex bartender pulls his husband into a second kiss that lasts much longer and is more intimate.
Jeongguk returns it immediately, moving his lips and tightening the hug. It lasts for what felt like ten seconds, but was over a minute before their mouths part again. "We should go, the next ones who have booked this room will be here soon."
Taehyung is unable to say much about it, his heart is beating fast, he cannot get used to kissing him. It's always something special and he just can't get enough of Jeongguk.
