Diner N' Daddy

Chapter 6: Travel

     "Baby, I need to take a trip to Puerto Rico, two weeks, I'll be back in no time." Jupiter was trying to make it seem that it wasn't long, but Reese knew that he would be gone for far longer.
      "And by that you mean that you'll be gone for a month, and return two weeks after the trip ends cuz you want to go 'exploring'." Reese had a smug expression about him and grew a devilish grin while saying this.
       "How did you know..." Jupiter sounded pathetic and utterly defeated.
       Reese had seen him use this tactic to go on month long trips before, and Reese could read his body language with ease. It bothered him how much Jupiter was out of the house, but sometimes, going on these trips gave Jupiter a raise. (God knows why)
         Once Jupiter made it to Puerto Rico he sent Reeses a text.

Sent text: just arrived baby!! be back in no time!! 😘

New text: you better get some sappy movies while your out, were running short JuJu!! be safe, love ya!💞💞💞

Sent text: we won't need sappy movies once I get back.

     After his trip, Jupiter was planning to propose to Reese after the staged trip, but once he returned, he would sneak up behind Reese and pop the question.
      Two months had passed and Jupiter was getting ready, he had bought a rose gold ring with an R engraved on top. His was identical but had a J engraved instead. Jupiter thought it was adorable, but he was unsure how Reese felt. How he felt everyday waking up beside Jupiter. How he felt at work everyday. How he felt when they kissed. How he would feel when Jupiter proposed. Suddenly Jupiter was hit with a wave of anxiety.
       "I can't do it, I can't do this. He, could think I'm stupid, or clingy, or he could say I'm rushing things!" Jupiter ran off to the men's restroom and locked himself inside a stall, but then he heard a knock.
        "Dude, I heard you panicking and then I just saw you dart into here. Man, are you alright?" A raspy voice spoke from the other side of the door. "Dude, I saw you open that tiny box, are you going to propose soon?"
        "I was.... but I'm feeling worried. What if Reese thinks I'm stupid.." Jupiter openly spoke to the mysterious man without a pinch of hesitation.
         "So her names Reese?"
         "You can believe that."
         "What? You just said that was her name!"
         "Its not a she is what I meant."
         "Oh, that is adorable, gay, who would've thought."
         "Ehh, actually, it's hard to openly tell people."
         "Come out here and we can talk,"
         Jupiter opened the stall and saw a tall handsome young man. He looked roughly 23 or something. Jupiter knew who he was instantly.
        "Oh, it's you... Jake, I told you I never wanted to talk again." Jupiter's face was slowly turning red with fury. "You kidnapped Reese that one time, remember? You even forced him to make out with you."
        "Dude put that past. Reese was my baby before he was even yours." Now Jake was raging, his bright blonde hair starting to cover his eye. "I loved Reese Stutton, and you, you bi***, you stole him from me with a single smile." Jake was going a little overboard here, and his nostrils started to flare with fury.
        Jupiter slowly evacuated the situation, leaving Jake to sit there and. throw his pitiful tantrum. He gave a slight chuckle at the idea of a 23 or something male throwing a fit in the airport restroom.
        Right as Jupiter exited the airport he found his car and started heading home, AFAP (as fast as possible). He made it home in a rush, and found Reese rewatching 'How to Train Your Dragon' with a cigarette in his hand.
       "Baby? I'm home!" Jupiter called to the obviously hard-working man. "Get over here you lil' potato, I have a surprise!"
        As Reese walked over, Jupiter bent down pretending to tie his show and lifted the box.
        "Reese Stutton, I-"
        "Yes!!!!!! I thought you would never ask!" Reese cut Jupiter short, and grabbed his neck, pulling him into a hug.
          Jupiter slipped the ring onto Reese's hand and put on his matching ring. They were so excited to be engaged that they told everyone that they were holding a party the next afternoon at the cafe.

Sent text: guys! juju just proposed right now! we are celebrating tomorrow at the diner!

Felix: omg! I'm so proud of you two!

Milana: tell JuJu that I wouldn't miss for the world!

William: you gays! I'm so proud that you finally got the question out of the way! took a little too long.

Milana: will, you are gay too. why are you saying it like that?

Felix: Milana you dork XD

William: I can talk to Reese how I want to talk to Reese.

Baby💞💞💞: Reese, babe, I was going to tell them.

Sent text: Sry, I was excited, I was the one that got asked :P

William: he has a point

Milana: will, can I delete you for. the chat?

Sent text: you dorks XD

Baby💞💞💞: will, as a fellow gay, you know that I will have no prob deleting you.

Felix: I'm in

Sent text: stop bullying

William: actually, I am a bisexual, not a gay.
