Cyans Pov:

It's been four days since I met Jordan, we haven't talked since then. I can't get him off my mind, not like I want to. I sometimes just lay in bed and think of him, I have never really felt this way about someone before. I go through my normal morning routine. Today it's to early, but I have to get used to it because my apartment is a pretty far commute from school, and I have a lecture at 9:30.

At about 11am in the middle of the lecture my phone goes off. I hope it's Jordan. I quietly open the text being careful not to disturb the class. It read "Hey. It's Jordan, just wondering of you wanted to get some coffee later?". I waited a couple minutes to respond, to look less eager. I respond with "Sure. That would be great. What time? I get out of class around 12." He replies instantly with "how about 1 then? Do you know Coffee Culture in downtown LA?". I say "Ya, I heard of it and 1 sounds great, see you soon".

My heart beats as fast as a drum as I walk in to the coffee shop. I see him sitting at a table secluded from all other people. He sends me a wave and I smile and walk towards him. I sit down and say "Hey" slightly awkwardly "how was school?" He asks

"Gosh you make it sound like I'm 12"

He laughs at my joke. "So what do you do for a living" I say surprised that didn't come up in our first conversation "I make YouTube videos" He says shyly. How could I have forgotten, I thought about this a couple days ago, "I thought I recognized you from somewhere. I admire your work" I say "really?" He says in a shocked tone, "ya I have seen a couple of them... CaptainSparkelz" I laugh. "It was a dare" he says as if he is defending himself, dragging the word dare. At that moment the waiter walks up to us and says in a artificial tone "Hello and welcome to Coffee Culture where your coffee and croissant wish is our command. What can I get you lovely couple?". I look a Jordan and he is smiling, so I smile back and don't tell the waiter we aren't a couple. "Can I get a French vanilla cappuccino, no fat, thanks" I ask as Jordan try's to conceal his laughter "and for you" the waiter looks at Jordan. "Just black" he answered. Just as the waiter left I said "you like black coffee that's pretty lame man"

"You like French vanilla cappuccinos, with no fat, that's lame man" he mocked. We went on in conversation for hours, and around 4 we both decided it was time to leave. "Are you busy tomorrow night around 7?" Jordan asks, "Is this your way of asking me out on a date?" I ask making him blush. "Yes" he says "so are you busy?" "I can clear my schedule, I live across the street on floor 19 apartment 1902, bye Jordan" and I leave.
