The Secret

Chapter One

You have a secret. You have always seen a translucent number over everyone's heads. There is different numbers above everyone's heads, but you've only seen two people with the same number above their heads. You can not see your number, but everyone else's are visible to you. Your completely convinced that you will get your number when your 18, as some people have already revealed that information. No one else you've talked to can see the numbers, so no one else can see anything you see. And you will soon realize why that is...

You had recently seen a fortune teller, she's a good friend of yours. She told you that the numbers were real, and they stood for something "very important you would soon find out". You wondered what that meant.
You were going to turn 18 soon, and a lot of people have broken relationships over events that happen when they turn 18. You have a boyfriend named Colin, and he understands why your seeing this. He had found out why your seeing the numbers, because he has already turned 18 and knows things you do not. Your relationship has not been effected, and your worried as to what happened, and why nothing is happening. Your best friend, Ellie, has the number 37. Colin has the number 24.

A few days later, you start to wonder about what the numbers mean, and what your number was. You decide to talk to Colin about it, hoping that he could share the information with you.you called Colin, and asked him to come over so you guys could talked. After waiting a few minutes that seemed like hours, he had finally arrived.
"Hey baby cakes" he said, trying to lighten your emotion, which worked.
"Hey. So i wanted to talk about the number situation." You tell him, getting straight to the point.
You had no luck at first, trying to get him to open up about what happened. After about an hour of trying, you were about to give up on him, when he finally started talking to you about what happens when you turn 18 an the entire process, in full details. What he revealed left you in shock...
