It was a beautiful morning in the Autumn season. I opened my chestnut brown eyes and move my limb towards the window and gazed at the world behind the thick lenses. Sunrays entered each vein on my eyes. I cannot resist it. But the colors of the Maple caught my attention. I lift the window upward and forward my head outside. The breeze of calm wind blow my scarlet hair. The Maple leaves I am staring at is wondrous and divine. Chirping of birds make me look at the sky. I saw them floating in rejoice, dancing elegantly, swiftly through the rhythm of the nature. I am so lucky to witness this kind of once in a blue moon divine intervention. I wish I can repeat it. I wish everyday is always this sacred.

Knocks on the door broke my momentum. "Scarlet! Scarlet!" If I am not mistaken it is Aunt Isadora. I immediately run to open the door. "Yes, Aunt Isadora?" She stared at my hair down to my feet. "Is anything alright, Aunt Isadora?" She just blinked her eyes thrice. "Your Mother." My Mother is currently on the rose farm we own. It is far, too far from where I am standing at. "Mother? Did she arrived already?" Aunt Isadora didn't replied. She sighed. "Your Mother, she'll be going home soon. She is sick and her condition was dreadful." Aunt Isadora is always eyebrows up and mad but I never saw her this serious and pale before. "What is her illness?" Aunt Isadora didn't replied and walked away. Mother is really sick to turn Aunt Isadora that pale. I am starting to get nervous.

After knowing my Mothers condition, I became anxios and cold. I cannot eat and think. Aunt Isadora's prepared breakfast was just wasted. I am motionless and stunned. I am like a sitting statue. "Scarlet, Scarlet Amgine are you alright? What's wrong with you?" Aunt Isadora shaked my body but I cannot move my arms, even my veins are uprooted. "You didn't ate the breakfast I've prepared. It is your all time fave carrot soup but you didn't even touched your spoon. Tell me." I open my mouth but there are no words coming out, even pair of single vowels. "You're thinking about your Mom? Do you think your actions will can heal you Mother? Scarlet! Grow up! Do you wanna get sick, too? Just continue what you're doing and I'll be present on you and your Mother's burial." I was awakened with her wisdom words. She's right. My actions cannot do anything to help my Mother. I know that Mother do not want me to act like this. "I am sorry, Aunt Isadora." I comb my hair and chinned up. "Good! Go on to your room now. Just pray for your Mother's recuperation. That will help a lot." She guided me on the stairs towards my room. "I love you, Scar." "I love you Aunt." "Your Mother, she'll be alright. I promise."
