Aunt Isadora said I must wear something impeccable for the gathering we will attend. I do not have that marvelous dresses nor captivating shoes. I do not know what to wear. I looked at my saved pounds and saw a bunch of papers. I hammered it and get the money. "Aunt Isadora, can I go to the center? I don't have any presentable dress in my closet." She allowed me to go. I only wear my old fashioned hat, brown silk dress and old shoes towards the shoppe with my money as well. It's not my first time to roam around the city but the I felt new to the streets and directions. There are streets I used to walk to but now they are establishments. I ask one man walking oppose to my way, "Good day, Sir. Where can I find the center?" The man think. "Center? There are no center in the city." I am surprised with his answer. "Where can I buy dresses rather?" He smiled. "Dresses are sold on Harley's Boutique. It can be find on the next street, Captain Angus Street specifically." "Thank you, Sir."
I am currently on the Captain Amelia Street and it says on the street map that Capt. Angus St. is at the next road. I walk calmly and happily. All that surrounds me are diverse shoppes of bread, vegetables, ornaments and supplies. I look around and everyone wears designers garments. This city looks like expensive and elite.
"Ouch!" I hit something. "I am sorry, lady. Are you alright?" My hat blocks my vision. I couldn't see who's in front of me. But he is a boy, the same as my age. "I am sorry." "No, no, no, no, no. I am sorry. I am the one who doesn't look at my way." I fixed and dust off myself. "I am Leon." He forward his hands towards me. I can't see his face but I forward my hand as well, "Scarlet." "Your hair, scarlet as rose." I comb my hair with my right hand. "I'll go now, Leon." And I walked away from him. I did not turn my back and even glimpse at him anymore. I just walk straight. "Scarlet!" I was caught by that familiar voice. "Wait!" It's Canna. She seems like following me since I left the house . She looks tired and thirsty. "Why didn't you said you'll go to the center?" Canna said while catching her breath. "I didn't saw you." I answered her funny questions. "Wait. Let's rest for a while. My tongue will go out of my mouth in an instant. I am very tired running and following you." She lean on the wall of a tea shoppe. "Do you want to have tea for the meantime?" I ask her. She didn't replied and just nod. We enter the shoppe and sit on the brown wooden chair. We calmly tasted the tea. Canna seems comfortable now. I smiled at her. As usual, a snob in return.
