Cuddles

Vinny woke up a little earlier than the rest of the days. His head hurting like someone hit him on the head with a hammer as he reached for his phone that was next to him. 6:00 AM. He knows he couldn't go back to sleep since his eyes were wide awake and his eyelids doesn't feel heavy. He may be wrong on that, but he stayed on the right side. He sat up and looked behind him.

Joel was sleeping peacefully with his front facing towards him. He looked like he was in the most comfortable place ever. His breaths were slow and steady. Plus his mouth is a little open. Vinny sighed. He decided to do his morning routine because it's the best option. The moment he stood up, he felt a hand grabbing his right arm.

"Where are... you going...  Vin...?" Joel mumbled with a hint of sleepiness. Vinny stared at him.

"I'm going to do my morning routine." Vinny replied. "Now let go of my arm."

"Just a few more minutes Vin..." Joel pulled Vinny into the bed and flipped the blanket up so it was covering Vinny too. He hugged Vinny from the back and tangled his legs with the other's. Vinny tried to break out.

"Let me go Joel!" Vinny said as he struggled to break free. He felt Joel's grip getting tighter and in the end, he gave up.

"Can't we just cuddle for a little?" Joel asked. Vinny replied with a sigh. He knows he can't do anything even though he is older than him. WAY older. Maybe the older you get, the weaker you are.

Vinny felt him getting relaxed and he snuggled into Joel. He liked this feeling. His eyes start to feel heavy. Vinny shuddered when he felt Joel's small breaths against the back of his neck. After a few seconds, he fell asleep in Joel's warmth.
