Phantom watched as the hero, Red Riot, edged closer to him, his gloved hands raised above his head. "Its me you want." He could hear the desperation in the other mans voice. "So let the kid go. You can have me. I won't fight anymore."
The offer was tempting, to have the little hero to mold and love. Phantom would get him anyway, he knew that, but it would be way easier if the man came without a fight. He twirled the dagger in his hand a creepy smile settling on his face. "No more fighting..." He mused, as he put the knife down. "Let the kid go..." He made a gesture to one of his employees. "Permanently."
"Of course sir." The man smirked and with a twist of his blade ended the child's life.
Phantom groaned silently, I didn't mean stab her you dolt...
"No..." He turned his attention away from plotting the others death to the whispering of the hero. "Nononononono"He picked up the sobbing man and carried Red Riot off, a small tear of his own falling down his face. "Clean it up." Phantom growled. "Get the body ready for transport. I want the carpet clean when I get back."
"Don't worry." He told the other. "I would never let that happen to you. We're going to have so much fun together."
And with a smile and a wave he left the grieving man on the bed. "I'll be back soon."
