chp 2. The Process

Seokjin froze even asking the question. He thought that everyone would think of him to be crazy. But after all that time of everyone talking about getting a baby then seeing Nct with one, he had to say something.

"My opinion may not matter but..i feel like we should get a kid-" Jungkook broke the silence.

"But - don't you guys know how much of a responsibility it is to take care of a baby? Something so small and-" Yoongi protested but was interrupted by the oldest.

"Yoongi i know it may sound hard to be taking care of a kid-" Seokjin sympathized. "especially with all the work we have to do but..this could change us, and for the good" he suggested.

Everyone nodded in agreement, even Yoongi. Everyone understood how hard it could be to take care of a kid but also found the benefits of doing so.

"plus, there are seven of us. the baby will be spoiled~" Jimin sighed in awe at the thought of spoiling his own baby.

"ill be totally up for it! ive always loved babies and wouldn't mind having one at all. If anything it sounds every kind of fun!~" Hoseok said with a super happy tone of voice as always.

All seven boys went to sit down to think about the whole baby thing.

Seokjin and Namjoon were so excited that they started ahead of the game and looked up cute baby clothing and toys together. Seokjin wrapped his arm around Namjoon's shoulder and pulled him closer to continue browsing online.

As Yoongi and Hoseok talked for a bit and came to the conclusion that everyone had nothing to worry about at all. They were all capable of taking care of an infant. They moved their worries away and played Super Star Bts together.

As for the group's maknae line, they sat on the floor and went on and on about their worries, fears, everything negative. Jungkook ended up having a mini argument with Taehyung about their reputation.

"But kook- think about what our reputation would look like if people found out we have a kid"  the two others looked at him funny.

"are you really going to think about our reputation and not the kid we are going to take care of?" Jungkook argued .

Before they got loud Jimin told them to calm down and look at the bright side. He talked to Tae a little bit, laying his younger one on his lap while Jungkook sat a bit farther away from the two, looking up names for the kid.

All of this is what led to the silence of the seven. They were all down to take care of a baby so they were pretty excited. All they really needed were things for a baby then they would worry about getting one.

Seokjin looked up from his phone to talk to the others. "guys, if we want a baby, we will have to be completely ready for it. This baby needs everything" he said with confidence.

"we should all go out together so we could get what we need for the baby." Hoseok suggested in his normal happy tone.

Taehyung got up and looked at Seokjin "but do you know how we are going to announce it to the public yet? what will happen to us-?" Taehyung asked the father figure of the group.

"well..we can worry about that later ok Tae?" Jin suggested and gave Jungkook a stern look because he hit Taehyung's leg at his statement.

They all discussed what their plans were so they went out and bought what they needed to. It took them two days to buy and order everything. Now they just had to wait for everything to be shipped to them.

Until then, everyone spoke about how exciting it will be to have a child and be fathers~
