I got into a gown and was leaded to a different room. Josh was with me, holding my hand the whole time. "don't worry, we'll get through this." he kept saying. I knew I could get through this, but I wasn't sure if he could. I squeezed his hand. He kissed it. The baby was about 4 centimeters away from me to start pushing. All of the sudden, my cramps were getting farther apart, rather than closer. "We will have to get you to a C section room." one of the nurses was already moving the bed. "WHAT?!" me and Josh were very confused. "you see, the feet are at the bottom rather than the head so, our only choice is to give a C section." now I was getting nervous. Josh had to put on scrubs and he started to make me laugh. He kissed me and kept telling me it was gonna be alright. I believed him. We were going to get through this. I just wanted Alice out of my body. They cut me open and about 10 minutes later, I heard a cry. Josh cut the umbilical cord and then he had to immediately leave. I didn't know why. Josh kissed me one last time and left. They gave me more medicine and Everything got dizzy...

I woke up. Stupid medicine. They were always giving it to me so I would go to sleep. They must find me really annoying or something. I just wanted to see my baby. They walked in, Josh stood up and walked over. They talked a little. The nurse gave me my baby. Finally. She was wearing a yellow blanket and a yellow hat. I checked. It wasnt an Alice. It was a boy?! Josh immediately said Andrew Ryan. I liked it. My middle name was Andrea, same basis as Andrew, and Josh's middle name is Ryan, like Andrew's. It was perfect. "Hi Andrew!" I was in tears. He was beautiful. I held him and held him until my arm was getting cramps. Then it was Josh's turn. He was so careful. I have never seen him so careful. "hey Buddy. It's your daddy." he started to get tears. We fed him and company came later. My parents and his parents came and held him, while me and Josh got some rest. They stayed for a decent amount of time and then left. They'd come back when we came home. Josh called people to give all of the girl baby clothes to charity and change the baby girl room into a baby boy room. When we came home, Andrew was very tired. We fed him and put him to bed. Josh and I watched him sleep and set up more stuff in the baby room so we were all organized. We had friends and family stay overnight and take care of the baby every time he woke up so me and Josh could get some rest. When our friends and family finished staying over, we were all set. We had the food set up and all of the clothes until 6 months organized. I changed Andrew and so did Josh. We took turns taking care of him at night and Josh always offered so I could stay in bed. He is a great father.
