Jimin was really happy that he got Yoongi to walk with him for a bit. He really wanted to find out more about the mysterious boy with such a powerful voice. But where to start?
... He really didn't want to screw this up. And Yoongi seemed like a hard-to-get-to person...
"Soo..." Jimin started, suddenly feeling nervous. "Do you have any voice? - N-no I meant dog! Or cat? Uhhh... Songs.." What do you want to ask about, Jimin?? He scolded himself. Music or pets?! Oh god, how awkward. Why did he panic like this so suddenly??
He looked at the ground nervously and feeling embarrassed, before looking at Yoongi again. But to his surprise, he smiled. This was the first time he had seen Yoongi smile, and what a gooey smile that was. He loved it.
He could feel himself starting to smile at the sight.
Yoongi cleared his throat, trying to hide his smile, it seemed. "I don't have any pets- not yet anyway.." he answered. Yoongi then looked at Jimin, seeming curious. He raised his eyebrow with an ever so slight smirk, and Jimin could feel himself blushing again, being looked at like this. He couldn't help it, he always blushed easily. His friends always said it was because of his "bubbly", "bright" or "flowery" personality.
"Well?" Yoongi demanded, snapping Jimin out of his thoughts. "Oh... I used to have a dog, Ddosun, but he passed away some time ago." Jimin looked at Yoongi, giving him a sad smile, but Yoongi abruptly turned to Jimin, put his hands on his cheeks and said -
"Don't smile if you don't feel like smiling. You are allowed to be sad. Let yourself be sad. The important thing is to recover, but let yourself be sad first." Jimin had never seen such a stern expression before, and he could feel his face become the embodiment of the ":o" emoji he used so frequently, but he couldn't help but crack up shortly after. He took Yoongi's hands off his cheeks and into his hands. "Come on, I feel like you really need a drink right now" and pulled him with him into the already dark, busy Seoul streets, this time with a genuine smile, a smile brighter than the first ray of sunlight at dusk.
