           She was trying hard on catching her breath, clueless, and hopeless. Ilang buwan nang hindi makatulog ng mahimbing si Ezra, binabagabag siya ng mga panaginip na hindi niya magawang takasan.

           She is trapped. She is caged. She is helpless.

           And no one can save her but him. But it is impossible. He is gone. Nothing can take him back. No one can take him back.

           Nakapikit ang mga mata ni Ezra, nananatiling tulog, habang nag durusa sa walang hanggang panaginip.

 The words he gave her before he vanished into air, is enough to break her heart.

❝Stay alive, Ezra Alexandra.❞

             Her dreams... her dreams that keeps on haunting her even in her deepest sleeps.

 ❝I am your mate, and I will always be. I love you,❞ Aiden whispered in her ears, one time, while he was hugging Ezra.

The saddest thing is, she had the chance to say those words back. But she didn't. Until the time came and she lost all the chance to even hear him say her name. She lost the chances and she lost him, too.

          Ezra hugged herself tightly, still sleeping. She was dreaming of Aiden, her memories with him, the day he kissed her lips, the day they experienced their first quarrel because of some little things, the day he said "I love you," and the day he said goodbye.

          It has been years since he left. But his memories stayed. And that's what hurts the most. When you can still remember everything but you can't take it back.

Ezra woke up, with the tears in her eyes. She looks so lonely. She looks so helpless. Who would've thought that Ezra is capable of crying this hard? No one.

But one thing's for sure, Ezra cried this hard because of one person.

Another serene yet lonely day have passed, yet Ezra is still in her favourite place, their favourite place. It was on the sea. Umupo siya sa isang malaking bato sa gilid ng dagat,  wondering what lies beneath the sand.

 ❝I missed you so much, mate.❞ She whispered to herself, because she knows that no one can witness the agony she have, and no one can hear her words but the wind.

 ❝It's been years. I've been dying to see you every minute. I've been dying to feel your warmth against my skin.❞ she said.  ❝I love you... very much.❞ She cried, as the moonlight kissed her skin.

How can she forget him? How can she forget all the memories they had?

Days have passed, and she only goes to one place; their place.

Sitting on a branch of a tree, her eyes were closed, trying to calm her mind.

Hanggang sa makaramdam siya ng matinding katahimikan. She can't hear anything but the wind, and her own, slow, and deep breathing. Until the day she has been waiting for came. The day he returned.

She couldn't believe that this is possible. She witnessed his death. She mourned every night, because of him.

When Ezra saw Aiden looking up at her, she immediately jump from where she is. Tiningnan niya si Aiden mula ulo hanggang paa. Totoo ba ito? O isa na naman sa mga panaginip na hindi niya matakastakasan?

Aiden smiled at her, his perfect teeth is showing.

 ❝You need to rest, my love.❞ he said to her, as he walk towards her slowly. He hugged her like she's her world, his strength, his life.  ❝I didn't leave, I'm always here.❞ he said.

Hindi mapigilan ni Ezra ang kanyang pag iyak nang muli niyang madama ang pamilyar na bango, at pamilyar na pakiramdam tuwing yakap yakap niya si Aiden.

 ❝Move forward, please. Always remember that I love you. We will meet again, someday.❞ he whispered.

and then again, he vanished into air. Leaving Ezra alone, crying, while hugging herself.

She woke up in the middle of the night, realizing that her recent dreams is just the same. It is the same with those dreams that always make her feel so empty.

Iminulat niya ang kanyang mga mata. She realized that he won't be back anymore. He isn't coming back. And she can't do anything about it but accept that her love is gone. He's already gone.

She realized that she needs to stop on hoping that one day, he'll come back to her. Nothing can take him back, not even her.

Ezra cried, and the world cried with her. She sat on the middle of her bed and whispered.  ❝I love you too, Aiden Ansel. I'm sorry if I didn't said those words back before.❞ she smiled.  ❝I will always love you, I promise. Even though you always leave me speachless, saturnine, and crestfallen.❞
