Before I start, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who's here supporting Jane.
I've seen several people who've commented something along the lines of "oh, well, this isn't going to help Jane because she's popular and you just want to help her because she's popular!! this isn't doing anything to help her get her account back, it doesn't make a difference".I'd like to say that they're wrong. This account was made to support Jane.
This was made so she didn't have to go through it alone. So she had a support system and something to look back at when she was feeling down. It was made to raise awareness about the deletion of her account (whether Wattpad made a mistake or not). People wanted answers about why it was deleted, how they can help, how to support Jane, and if Jane could get anything back. And I wanted to help give them answers. I suppose it was the natural journalist side inside of me, haha. But not only did I want to help you guys, but I wanted to help Jane. I put myself in her shoes for a second, wondering how I would feel. I'd be devastated, to put it simply. I wouldn't know what to do. Which is why I'm proud of Jane for staying together and being able to stay strong through all of this. This wasn't because she was popular, this wasn't because I wanted to make a profit from the situation or because I wanted to get popular off of her tragedy. It was to help Jane. And it will stay that way. And to me?
I feel like this is making a difference. If you don't think it is, thank you for your opinion but you won't change mine.—
Jane herself admits she is not blameless, which is pretty mature to me. She's 17, in school year round, and writing several novels. And now she's trying to get back JaneConquestBackup (which, I don't know is possible but I hope she can get as much as possible from it). If you couldn't tell, she's very busy and I respect her even more for admitting that she's not blameless.
But, in my personal opinion, I don't think she deserved it. And yes, I know we all agree to follow Wattpad's rules as soon as we click 'yes, I agree'. But it feels wrong morally.
Like Jane said, if you want to send her a video message go ahead! Don't forget to send me the link by PM so I can include it in my Jane Appreciation book! I was
debating making my own, but I am definitely going to when I have the time :)Thank you everyone who helped Jane get the Wattpad Clichés book back to Jane! It was awesome to see everyone work together and send in screenshots, etc. I'm so happy she recovered that.
—I'd to say if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Especially on this message board and on this book and any other I post. Yes, you can disagree with Jane and you're allowed to have your opinion, but please do it respectfully. I don't want to see any cruel behavior, and don't spam others. Don't spam the Ambassadors either. It's really rude and a waste of everyone's time. Also, I do tolerate people who don't support Jane but the second you take it a step further and you're bullying someone or being mean that will be deleted. I'm setting a schedule where I go through the comments and find such things. Thank you and have a good day!
