chapter 13

first stop was the hair salon ran by mathews mom. she was an older woman, she had gray medium length hair she wore a dress with floweres. the sweetest woman i had ever met. "what can i get for ya miss dawn?"

"well i was thinking a shoulder length hair cut for lillianna dye it any color she wants you to. and for this little man i think well dye it black with red tips and spike it." i looked at the two and smiled " what do you guys say?"

"yes" they said in unison and jumped in a couple seats.

"can mine be black with bright red highlights?" lillianna looked at marie with hopeful eyes. 

"yes ma'am as miss dawn said its whatever you want so ill do as you like" and her work began.

i stepped out side while she was working. "well we know the colors they like so they'll deffenately fit in."

"yeah but we still have a ways to go before i trust them boss. forgive me but i dont trust alot of people."

"i know but ive got a feeling about them and its just like what marcum said about me when he found me. he didnt know forsure but he had a feeling of great accomplishments from me. even at a young age and i have the same feeling for these two."

"looks like theyre done." i turn around and see lillianna with her hair just above her shoulders black with red highlights and liam with his hair spiked and black with red tips. a smile came to my lips seeing them both give each other hi-fives and laugh. 

i walked in and paid marie 40$ for both hair cuts and then we was on our way to hot topic. when we walked in their eyes lit up immediatly and i couldnt help but be proud of myself. "now im gonna help you guys pick out your clothes ok we want you guys to become entirely new people and this is what were gonna do. so were gonna go full blown hot and feisty. were also gonna get some workout clothes because weather you like or not your both gonna train." they nodded and we started combing over the clothing racks and finding clothing for them mostly black skinny jeans and cargo pants black tank tops some dark blues and dark reds we gathered up some sports bras and sweat pants some chokers because lilly wanted them. then we got lilly some make up that went with her eyes and some hair gell for liam and some new shoes and boots. we got some black leather jackets. by the time we left the store we could barely see darius's face through all the boxes and bags. we tossed everything in the trunk and then climbed in. 

"what do you guys say about getting a guard dog? i think its time for there to be one in the house."

"really?!"

"uh-huh" 

"please!"

"you guys gotta stop answering at the same time its starting to freak me out a little bit" darius said looking at them in the back seat.

"sorry!" we all burst out laughing.

"ok so one more stop before we get home. " i pulled up to a pet store and instantly their eyes landed on a husky wolf breed that had the most gorgeous blue eyes and the white with gray and brown patches all over. it was perfect it was only a pup but we could teach it. "what do you say about that one?"

"yeah!" they paused for a moment "oops" 

darius slapped his forehead while i laughed. we grabbed the pup and walked up to the register "how much for this little guy?"

"120$ ma'am that includes tags and a collar."

"well take him" i handed him the money and we put his collar on him and walked out to the car he sat in the back with lilly and liam. 

"so what do you guys want to name him?"

"marcum" they said in unison and mine and darius's eyes went wide.

"why marcum?"

"because if it wasnt for him then wed be at the orphanage right now."

"okay marcum it is" i say and we drive home. pulling in we see a few cars parked out front " guys ive gotta deal with some issues really quick so jarvis is gonna help you to your rooms as you know and ill come get you when im done." they both nodded. jarvis opened the door and stepped out to help them with their bags.

i entered the house and all eyes landed on me "alright guys listen up! we have two new guests and soon members, youre to treat them with respect"

"yes boss."

"we may be a gang but were a family first." they all nodded "now gabriel, i want you to go get the supplies for the cookout. were also going to be introducing you to the kids soon but right now we need to talk business so talk to me."

"weve got a shipment of bullet proof vests coming in on saturday" 

"alright jack."

"boss there is a shipment of 10 2017 dodge chargers and 10 chevy tahoe's coming in on tuesday with bullet proof glass."

"good dustin i wondering when theyd be coming in." i looked toward the door as lilly and liam came in "now guys this is lilly and liam theyre our newest members. they still need their training but i expect great things to come from them and you guys know my rules you protect them with your life." 

"yes boss"

"lilly and liam, this is only a portion of the gang. we have jack, dustin, carl, craig, peter, charlie, justin, horje, simmon, samual, john and little john we all call them bj and lj, garry, carter, austin he is actually one of our class mates, and last but not least jeff. you dont have to memorize their names right now but itd be nice if you can try but go get settled in catrina will have food ready shortly." 

they nodded and went to their room the guys started to chuckle at darius who was still barely visible with all the packages and a pup attached to his pant leg. "and we have a new pet the kids named him after a great man and excellent leader marcum." we had hoots and hollars fill the room.
