INSIDE THE GYM
"Haruna... Haruna...wake up!!!" as my friend called me and shook me while in my deep sleep...as I open my eyes, my friend has now a worried look in her face..
"Eri, why do you look so worried??" I asked while looking at her.
"I've been waking you up for almost 15 minutes Haru but you won’t wake up. It seems you're having a bad dream again," said Eri.
Once I heard that "again" I knew what's Eri is talking about or referring to.
"Again, huh? So that means I am calling her name again? Am I right Eri??"
As I asked Eri, she just nodded at my question.
“I thought you are over her, Haru??" Eri asked me, still with a worried face on her.
"Yes I am, Eri. Don't worry about it. Maybe she just popped in my dream. Well you know it's been a year and we both know she is happy now. :) “ I answered and gave Eri a big smile to assure her that I am fine.
After chatting for a couple of minutes, I glanced at my watch to check the time.
"Would you look at the time? Eri! We're gonna be late for our next class!" Haru exclaimed.
We blazed through the hallways on our way to our classroom. We barely made it before our teacher entered the room.
"Phew, that's a close one, wouldn't you say so Eri?" Haru sighed with relief.
We found our way to our seats - I, seated near the windows at the very back of the classroom and Eri, directly right in front of me.
Hours slowly passed by like years. And just when I was about to drift off to dreamland, my phone began to vibrate. I didn't want to check on it since I felt too lazy to summon up the energy to pick it up, but it kept on vibrating until my patience ran out.
"Who's bugging me at this time?" I told myself.
5 messages received? Who could this be?
They were all the same messages from an unknown number.
09XXXXXXXX: I'm on my way there now.
Me: Who's this?
09XXXXXXXX: Your admirer! ^_^
(huh?)
Me: Don't play with me! Who are you?
09XXXXXXXX: Whoa! Calm down, you hotheaded girl. You always have such a short fuse. Can you guess who I am?
Me: -_-; Uh NO! And I don't have time for this........
09XXXXXXXX: You're a killjoy you know that. >_<
Me: Alright, alright! Is this Mami?
09XXXXXXXX: Guess again. ^w^
Me: Just tell me already!
After that last text I made, the unknown number didn't reply.
Hours passed by and my teacher dismissed the class.
"YAY it's time to go home! ^_^" I said with full energy while stretching my hand in the air.
“Wow where did you get that kind of energy Haru?? Haha.." Eri chuckled while looking at me.
"It's the magic of class dismissal! Hahaha!" I laughingly said to Eri while still doing my stretch.
"Okay Haru, by the way, I must go now. My boyfriend is waiting for me outside the campus. See you tomorrow Haru. “ Eri said goodbye while I was tidying my things.
After a couple of minutes, I was on my way out of our classroom when suddenly my phone started to vibrate. When I finally looked at it, the message came from the unknown number again.
09XXXXXXXX: Hey! I'm already inside the campus. Meet me in the open court. (o^∀^o).
Me: Huh??!!! How did you get inside?? And tell me who you are already. >_<
09XXXXXXXX: Don't be hasty, you'll know soon enough.
Me: Arrggg. >_< Ok ok. How would I know that you are the one I'm supposed to meet?
09XXXXXXXX: Himitsu. :P
Me: >_< I need to know how I could recognize you. -_-;
The unknown number did not reply again on my last message.
"Great!" I murmured to myself.
09XXXXXXXX POV (inside of haruna’s school)
Haruna: >_< I need to know how I could recognize you. -_-;. As I read her message, I laughed so hard. "This girl is really hot headed. I really love making fun of my buddy," I said to myself while still looking at Haruna’s message.
“I guess I’ll just let Haruna see for herself who her secret admirer is. Hahaha..” said I as I was putting my cell phone inside my pocket.
"Whoa! I never thought Haru’s school is bigger than mine...“ I told myself while scanning the whole place.
As I scan the school, I noticed one of the guards is looking at me and already on his way to where I’m standing.
“Oh no, I think the guard already suspects that I’m not a student here! Geez where is Haru?! I need to see her before the guard catches me.” I started to panic.
I looked to my left and to my right, hoping Haru arrives but there is still no sign of her.
“Where is she?” I asked myself while looking at the guard who is now just a few steps away from me.
Without realizing it, my foot started to move and run before the school guard has a chance to confront me. I noticed that the guard also started to run as well, blowing his whistle and shouting at me to stop. Rather than stopping, I realized that I started to run faster than before.
“Geez, Haruna where the hell are you?! I need you right now! I’m sorry already that I made fun of you!” I shouted while still running away from the guard in pursuit of me.
My breath starts to become heavy and I feel my foot starting to get numb from all the running but it did not stop me. Looking at the guard in chase, I forgot that I’m not the only person in this school.
BLAG!! "ITTE!!!" I grunt when I fell on the floor, realizing that I bumped to someone.
