Kaiden
I laid in the hospital bed while listening to the heart monitor and looking out the large glass window. I heard the door open and looked over, it was my nurse. My nurse's name was Marissa, she had nice curly hair and beautiful hazel eyes, along with freckles.
"I brought your food Kaiden." She said sweetly and pushed the cart by my bed. She helped me sit up and places a tray in my lap.
"Anything else you need Kaiden?" She asked.
I thought for a moment.
"Yes actually.." I spoke.
"What is it?"
"Paper..and a pencil.." I said. She had a confused look but nodded.
I ate my meal and she cleaned up, when she came back she handed me a wooden board, paper, and a pencil. I thanked Marissa.
"Why did you need those?" She asked. I looked at her and smiled a small smile.
"Marissa..I already know that I'm dying..so I'm writing letters for my brother, my mom, and my dad." I looked down at tge paper.
"And once these are done..could you do something?" I asked.
"Of course.." She said
"You know the field with a great view of the mountains? Well my summer home is near there and..well..I wish for you to put these letters there once I die.." I spoke. I didn't look.at her, but I can tell she was shocked.
"Ok.." she finally said, and with that, I started writing..
