Rebirth of Brotherly Love | Detailed Summary

Ch 9

I summarized into a much shorter chapter since there wasn't much interaction with other characters.

An Yan stuck around all afternoon and even ate dinner with An Luo. He still seemed to want to stay but An Luo drove him away.

After he finally left, An Luo turned on the news. Names of important people and current events were all unfamiliar. Science and technology have progressed, the economy has also undergone rapid development. An Luo suddenly felt a disconnect with the times and society. 

He noticed the date and realized it has been 27 years since he died in that plane crash.

"So, I was reborn more than 20 years later. Is it only a coincidence to have the same name then?"

After two days of reading and watching the news, he knew his current city is called "Xilin".

An Luo is very uneasy. Not only is he unfamiliar with the enviornment, he doesn't have anyone he is sure he can rely on. As the oldest favored brother in a powerful, rich family he is suspicious of this bodies own family of being involved in the kidnapping.

No leads have been uncovered by the police so he feels he could still be in danger.

Although the former An Luo has been living very hard, at least he was surrounded by a group of obedient subordinates in a familiar setting. But now, he doesn't even have a man to trust. In the whole world, he is left alone with a terrible sense of loneliness.  

He hoped he could believe in the kind father and bid doggie brother he has met.

Are you trustworthy? An Luo cannot determine yet. He won't just sit back and let harm befall him though. He is already thinking of ways to counteract any attacks.

As he lazily flips through the TV channels he sees the familiar face of big doggie bro.

A young man in a white suit, with sunglasses on his face, is playing an ad in the TV screen. Driving a red convertible roared down the street, drifting to a stop. The man opened the door to get out, remove sunglasses, exposed a faint smile. Surrounded by the gorgeous flash, the young man's tall figure was trim in his suit looking tall and slender.

In the lower left corner a line of small print: Imperial Image Spokesperson, the 9th Annual Film Festival Rookie Award winner, An Yan.

Just 10 seconds of advertising, but left An Luo shocked for a long while.

 An Luo almost did not recognize him. Is the star that twinkles on the screen really his brother?

The thought of having to live with such a brother in the future makes An Luo have a headache. However, he is a star, should be very busy, probably has his own home he lives at? Maybe......I don't need to meet him often? I hope so.

Just wanting to rest, suddenly heard the door pushed open, Dr. Zhou Chenping came in. An Luo sat up and asked, "Dr. Zhou, what do you need?"

Dr. Zhou brought a cell phone that An Yan sent as a gift to his brother. An Luo really needs a cell phone. These days in the hospital, his only contact with the outside world is through the TV. Although he does not need to call people, he can at least access the internet.
