Crazy. He was crazy. While sharing the mic during the song 'Standing Next to Me' Alex had drunkenly kissed Miles Kane. The audience watched the sloppy kiss in astonishment. Realizing what he had done, Alex flushed in embarrassment and ran off stage.

Miles found Alex sitting head in his hands in the dressing room they were sharing.
"What have I done?" He muttered repeatedly, tearing up.
A quiet voice emitted from the other side of the room.
"hey"
Alex didn't look up. How could he? He had just embarrassed himself in front of thousands!
"Do you wanna talk?" Miles mumbled.
Silence
"I said do you want to talk?"
Alex slowly peered up. Miles noticed Alex's red puffy eyes and messy hair.
"It's ok" Miles empathized. He inched close enough to where he could sit beside Alex.
"No it's not Miles. It's just not. It's fucking not." His words escalated as he spoke and his eyes started to water again.
Out of fear and confusion Miles wrapped his arms around Alex, trying to comfort him. Instead of fighting it Alex gave in.
"I'm sorry I embarrassed you" Alex murmured. "If I wouldn't have drank before the show, none of this would've hap—"
Suddenly their lips crashed together like a ship and land. Their mouths were like waves clashing with one another. Sound escaping, hands floating adrift to unknown places.
They parted leaving much tension in the air. The room was quiet and peaceful. The only sound that could be heard was breathing and heartbeat.

"Well shite Miles...I think I love you."
