At age twenty-one, Liam asked me to come to London, so I went saw my boyfriend and best friends. The guys had to go meet Simon one day so I went with them. This was the first time that I had seen or at least talked to Simon since I was on X Factor. They had to talk about business stuff, so I decided that I would go out shopping and come back later. While I was in England I decided that I would visit When I was 21 Liam asked me to come to London for my birthday. So I went to see my boyfriend and best friends. While I was there the boys had to go meet with Simon so I went with them. This was the first time I had talked to Simon since I was on the X Factor. They had to talk business stuff so I decided I would come back later and I went out shopping.
While I was in England I decided I would visit my foster family and I went to Wolverhampton. While the guys were in the states they had gone to Louisiana to speak to my family. Liam wanted to ask my dad if it would be alright to marry me and my dad said yes. So they came back to England. Liam asked me out on a day date. We went to the movies, shopping, dinner, and at the end of the day, we went to the park across the street where we grew up. All of my family and his family were watching cars and houses. There Liam asked me to marry him and I said yes. Everyone came out and celebrated and I was still in shock and crying, but it was the best day of my life. We got engaged on October 19, 2015.
After months of planning, we decided to be married on July 17, 2016. As a kid, I always wanted to be married at Nationwide Arena. My family was very excited, especially the younger siblings and cousins. They were just excited to be related to someone from One Direction. All of Liam's family and friends came and so did mine, including my brother Bobby and his wife. They put down the ice just for this and put on it Liam James Payne and Lauren Sabrina Robertson July 17, 2016. Another reason we chose Nationwide Arena was that it is where he asked me to be his girlfriend and where we started over again. We said our vows and were wed. On that day I became Mrs. Liam Payne. We had our reception out at the arena. Everyone came out on the ice if they wanted to. There we danced and just had fun. It was great to have everyone there, in one place. The younger girls freaked out when they saw the guys there.
