August 8, 2016 our group debuted . Our first single cover entitled "square one". The song "Boombayah" &"Whistle" is written by Teddy Oppa, the lyrics utilize a whistling motif to describe a love-call and the rhythm of a beating heart.
Our group debut television performance was held on SBS's Inkigayo on August 14, 2016, where we performed "Whistle" alongside "Boombayah". The song was a commercial success, with "Whistle" peaking atop the Gaon Digital Chart. It was also featured in the pilot episode of the Freeform series, The Bold Type. Im very happy rather we are happy about the result of our debut song, because of the result it was succesful. Many people love it. We received an award for the both song. Its paid all the hardship we experince during our trainee days. We love you blinks for supporting us. This is all for you guys.
"Blinks" this is what we called to our fans who supported us no matter what happen and we love them.
"Blind" we called to our haters. Don't mind them okay.
After the successful release of Square One, We released 3 tracks for another single album entitled "Square Two" they are Playing with fire" , "Stay" and "Whistle" (acoustic version). It wa released on November 1, 2016. "Playing with Fire" hit number one on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart. In South Korea, "Playing with Fire" peaked at number three while "Stay" managed to reach the tenth spot. We also received 3 awards to our song PWF, again thanks to our Blinks.
Let me tell you my story during our debut 2016. We attend in every award shows and meet other idols. Our Sunbaenim and we are happy to interact with them, and make friends with them.
Our first music show performance was aired on August 14, 2016 on SBS' inkigayo. I am nervous that time even we practice many times, maybe because this is our first time we perform. After the performance, we went to our dressing room. And hug each other and we have tears of joy in our eyes. We are happy about the out comes. Our manager and other staff congratulate us. We won the first place on Inkigayo 13 days after our debut. And broke the record for the shortest time for a girl group to win on music program after debut. Our commercual success in first five months earned several rookie awards at major Korean year-end music award shows, including the Asian Artist Awards(AAA), Melon Music Awards (MMA), Golden Disc Awards (GDA), Seoul Music Award (SMA), and Gaon Chart Music Awards. Additionaly Billboard named us one of the best new kpop groups of 2016.

We meet and watch other groups. We amaized with their performances specialy the performance of Exo, BTS and Ikon are very eye catching. During the show we sit at the back seats. The group infront of us is Twice. The other side are BTS and other groups. When the time BTS are called for their award Taeyhung Sunbaenim looked our side and we had eye contact for 3 seconds after that I look each one of his members. But I felt shy because of that, he saw me looking at him. After some hours We perform "Whistle" and "Playing with Fire". Then, when the time were going back to our seats the organizer told us to sits infront of BTS while Ikon seats behind us. Jennie unnie and Hanbin Oppa smiling with each other, even our seats is little far from there seats. We are close with them. When Chanwoo poked me, I ignore it because I dont want to cause issues and ship us because of the simple poked. We are friends that's it. And I notice Mingyu of Seventeen looking at me, i dont know why. And I dont want to assume why his looking at me but i felt conscious about that. I know he is one of Bambam friend. When our group received an award Hanbin Oppa is the one who gave the award and one of the MC. While Rose unnie telling her speech, i felt Hanbin Oppa looking at me and i felt shy because of that. My Unnies teased me to Hanbin Oppa. I only smile with them.
When the Shows end, BTS and us went to back stage they are infront of us. They are filming something. We bowed with them. They also bowed to us.
