Book One -- The Chain is what started this. It is based on a prompt from the Romance Smackdown II at @CupidsCorner: write a break up story; two souls are destined to spend one last day with each other till split apart forever. The rest is the continuation of Alex's story and the search for Matthew's killer.
The idea for 2.4 came from the Challenge Tuesday book entry called "Drones - Minature Spies in the Sky" by @ChallengeCorner. The objective of the prompt was to magically use drones to perform spying or reconnaissance. Spy drones are mechanical -- I went with a more literal interpretation of "drone" and chose male bees as the medium of recon.
