People are born with their soulmates name tattooed on their wrist. Once soulmates meet each other they get a soulmate mark. Soulmate marks are different for every pair and never fades. If one soulmate dies or both soulmates really hate each other their names will be erased from each other's wrist and replaced with a new name. For each new soulmate there's a new soulmate mark if you meet them that is(also that's only if you end up with a new soulmate).
