Panting from her morning jog, Myla stood in front of her new home stretching her limbs before entering the house. It's only been 2 days surpisingly Myla is adjusting, which of course she much rather be in Los Angeles with her father. Oddly, she hasn't heard from her father.

"Good morning Myla." The housekeeper Yolanda greeted while prepping breakfast for the family.

"Good morning Yolanda, what's on the menu today?"

"Ayi, you'll see bonita now go and get yourself freshened up. I'll have your bowl of pineapples ready!"

"You're the best." Myla gave Maria a squeeze on her shoulder walking backwards out of the kitchen accidentally bumping into her stepbrother Greg. "Shoot, I'm sorry."

Greg smirked at her admiring her athletic toned body. "You're good, where you coming from?"

"I went out for a morning jog."

"Why didn't you ask me to join? I would have skipped the gym." Myla stood there squinting her eyes at him.

"I...I didn't know you even jogged." She gave him a fake smile exiting the kitchen.

"Wipe that drool off your face, papa." Yolanda snapped Greg out of his daze.

"Huh, what no no no that's not what I was doing." Greg stammered while picking up an apple from the fruitbowl.

"Listen, that's your seester so you need to get involved. Maybe you should introduce her to one of your friends Eddie or Lou."

"Yolanda, I am not even thinking or looking at Myla that way maybe Eddie will do than Lou. You know Lou can't keep his stuff in his pants." Yolanda shook her head at Greg agreeing with him.

"Si, now go and get yourself cleaned up breakfast be ready in about 15 minutes." Greg wiggled his eyebrows at the bacon on the fryer Yolanda pursed her lips at him daring to try stealing a bacon. Putting his hands up in defense mode he took the last bite of his apple then made his way upstairs.

"Breakfast be ready in 15!" Greg shouted in the hallway.

"So, what is everyone's plans on this beautiful Saturday?" George sat down at the table joining everyone for breakfast.

"Wellll, I have Eddie and Lou coming over to chill later nothing major. Myla you're welcome to join."

"She would love that she needs to be making friends before she starts  school. Maybe invite Eddie's sister if that's okay."

Myla scoffed at her mother. "I can manage on my own. I don't need you to play friend-matchmaker for me."

"You're always having an attitude." Greg interjected between their conversation.

"Ummm, I don't recall me talking to you."

"Well, you're talking around me."

"Mind your business, please." Myla rolled her neck towards her mom. "No need to help me I will be fine."

"Honey, I just think..."

Scoffing at Quinn, Myla gave her a fake smile.

"Never mind."

Greg chuckled at Myla's pissy attitude resuming with his breakfast.

"Like I said you're welcome to join."

"Like I said I am fine."

"Listen, if Myla doesn't want to do anything then respect her wishes." George chimed in. "Take it one day at a time with one another. She is adjusting to our home so we all need to be mindful of that."
