I quickly looked out of the large wooden door, but the beautiful boy was gone.
As I was in a large room filled with millions of paper books, I decided to let my imagination run wild.
Although, I couldn't stop thinking about the gorgeous boy that I managed to catch a glimmer of.
Instead of letting my mind start liking the idea of a love timer, I decided to occupy my mind by finding a book.
A real book.
I walked through all of the aisles, trying to find the teen section.
According to my mother, I was too old to be looking in the teen section, but honestly, thats where all the best books hide. Especially when these are paper books written hundreds of years ago.
Finally, I found it.
And as soon as I did, my eyes set on one particular book.
I slowly pulled it out of its place, being cautious of breaking it.
The small book was bright blue and on the front it said 'The Fault In Our Stars' by John Green.
I decided to pick it up and hold it closely to me.
The scent of paper and salt water unraveled in my nose.

Again, I walked down the concrete slabs and decided to start reading my newly discovered book in a coffee shop.
I ordered a hot chocolate, not really being a coffee person, and sat down on a chair next to the window.
I opened the paper book and got attached to it rather quickly.
This writer was a f*cking god.
It made me realise that finding your true love spontaneously was magical.
Adventurous.
So much better than it being set out Infront of you already.
Even though my soulmate was a gorgeous boy, it would of been nice to not rush things. Start off as friends. Then eventually grow into love. Rather then already knowing that your both eachothers true love.
And even if that was possible, I let him walk away anyway. Well.. I should say escape because he was sort of running.
Why was he running?
He must of known I was close by as well, so what made him run?
Who knows.

The walk home was long and tiring, hot chocolate always makes me sleepy.
I closed the door behind me and was met to my brother slumping over a box of pizza.
"Whats up?" I spoke quietly, knowing his job interview must of gone badly.
"Oh, Hey sis, my interview was.. Sh*t" he spoke as he shoved a piece of pizza in his mouth.
"Why? What happened?" I said whilst I climbed onto the kitchen counter and stole a slice of his pizza.
"..Apparently I'm not fully qualified" he said before resting his head on his elbows and staring at the ground.
I jumped from the counter and ran towards him, I kissed the top of his head quickly and ruffled up his gelled hair, letting him know that everything's going to be okay.
"Mums not gunna be back till late!" He shouted out as I ran up the stairs.
"Guess what!" I stopped in my tracks and waited for his response.
