“ scarlet please, please don’t cry.”William said hugging me. I rested my head in his arm and cried harder.
“ there is no way that I can explain that. It is just, just something that the science hasn’t discovered yet. The time travel just invented so I think we have a lot to expect yet.” My dad said trying to explain all this.
“ I have to say. You look really cute with the lynx ears” Bonnie noted. Maybe my desperate tries to be different just made effort. What the frack are you talking about Scarlet? You tried to be humanly different not a freakin’ mutant. Scarlet you don’t have time for that now. You have to find a house, move in, buy new furniture and prepare for Hogwarts. There is no time for crying when you are going to meet Harry freakin’ Potter, learn magic and join the Frog choir.
“ I am ready to go” I said standing up and helping William stand up too.
“ Great!” my dad said “ I have already found a house”.
“what house?” Vivian asked.
“The one that you are standing right now! I’ll find out if they are selling this and we can decorate it to a nice house. We have a direct transport to our home in 2082 so it is the best choice”. He said opening the door of the abandoned ice cream shop and got out. We waited there. I stood up and took a look at the shop. It was a duplex and very big. I suppose that the ice cream shop that was here was very popular and transferred into a bigger building. It was about 10 minutes and then Bonnie shouted
“ your eyes are changing! You have normal eyes now!” when I heard her I quickly searched for the mirror that Vivian had gave me before and I saw that my eyes were normal now. I think that they can change whenever I want. Hmmm. I closed my eyes and concentrate. No ears. No ears. No ears. No ears. No ears. No ears. No ears. No ears. No ears. No ears.
“OMG you can change them?” Vivian said.
“ I think… Yeah! I can change!” I said happy. I laughed a little. It was nice a feeling. I can change whenever I want and I might be able to change in a full lynx. Full lynx. Full lynx. Full lynx. Full lynx. Full lynx. Full lynx. Full lynx. Full lynx. Full lynx. Full lynx. FULL LYNX. FULL LYNX. No I cant.
“we can buy it! They are giving it to us!” I saw my dad hugging the twins. ‘’ what happened?” he said when he saw me.
“ I can change if I want!” I said joining the group hug.
“ that’s great! I’m happy for you Scarlet.”
“ now lets live the hugging for later we have work to do,” Vivian said.
“ I don’t know what big stores are available in this era’’
“ I think IKEA is,’’ Bonnie said looking at her net hologram coming from her smart bracelet.
“ so? What are we waiting for?” William asked.
“Let’s go endless shopping!” I said. Bonnie screamed enthusiastically and Vivian was already opening the abandoned shop’s door. We got a cab and traveled for about an hour. Luckily no lynx ears, tail or eyes appeared. When we arrived each of us got a little notebook and those small IKEA pencils.
“ now if you find something that you like you will write it down and when we get to this gigantic shelves we can take all of our new furniture,” My dad said “now let’s start. Stay close to me. I don’t want to lose any of my four kids.”
We first saw the living room department we decided after a strong argument which couch to buy and we all agreed to have a retro themed living room. So yeah! With that we moved to the next department. Kitchen. I don’t know if you have seen an IKEA kitchen. If you haven’t I pity you. They are the most perfect kitchens. We spent a lot of time deciding and then we moved in the bathroom section. It wasn’t a difficult decision. Because we really don’t care about how our bath will look like. Finally to the bedroom section. We spent the most time there because everybody would have its own room so I wanted my new room to be perfect so as Vivian, so as Bonnie, so as William. We were testing all the beds to find the one. I choose a bed with a ladder that is like a bunk bed but without the bottom bed. It was a single bed that had free space instead of another bed. Then I waited for everybody else to pick. Vivian picked a big princess bed with ceiling. William ended up with a regular bed that has a secret bed underneath the real bed. He said he’ll have company someday. Bonnie just couldn’t decide.
“hey scarlet” Vivian whispered “don’t make a sound. Thisguyisstaringyouallthetime.”
“what g-“
“sh,sh,sh. Behind you .Look discreetly,”
I see a strange guy. Sitting in a pink bed. It makes contrast with his full black outfit. In the first sight he looks really gothic and kinda emo because of his hood. Tall with muscles and tattoos. He puts his hood down and I can see his face. Messy short blonde hair and the blackest eyes I have ever seen. He looks at me with a quirky smile. I smile back at him and he waves me to come to talk to him. Ooops. Problem.
