Key's heart started to beat rapidly, but he still needed to wake up the sleeping dinosaur. He shook Jonghyun gently. "Wake up!~", Key repeated until Jonghyun woke up. His eyes opened slowly. "Good morning! I'll go make us breakfast.", Key smiled as he got up and walked out of the room.

Meanwhile in the kitchen.. Key was starting to make breakfast. He just wanted something simple, so he decided to make the classic: pancakes, eggs, and bacon, with a side of fruit salad. This wasn't what they normally ate in South Korea, but Key learned it when he was in the United States.

He started to cut the fruits, making them into small slices. He thought about what Jonghyun mumbled. Should he ask him about it? No.. it would make everything awkward. He just wanted to be with him, that's all he could ask for.

After they got done eating breakfast, they decided to walk to the karaoke bar to get Key a job. He couldn't get those words out of his head, it made him smile. "What are you smiling for?", Jonghyun asked him. "None of your business.", Key simply said, looking at the ground. "you don't have to be so rude, Kibummie-" "and you don't need to pout!". Although seeing him pout was the cutest thing ever. He was just like a puppy.

When they walked in the bar, the both of them were greeted by a young man.

"You must be Kibum! I'm Taemin.", the maknae softly smiled. "ah.. nice to meet you, Taemin.", Key smiled back. Onew ran to them, but ended up tripping and got up quickly. "I'm okay!", he said, only earning laughs. "I'm Onew! The oldest here!!", Onew smiled just like a bunny, a really cute and fluffy one.

He seemed so.. scary...? when he was in the cafe, but he turned out to be really nice. Jonghyun and Taemin went to take orders from a few customers that were waiting. Key heard a sigh come out of Onew. "He might look like a really sweet kid, but he has tricks up his sleeves, like a devil. He could be Satan for all I know.", Onew mumbled, making sure Taemin couldn't hear the shit he was talking.

"You have someone like that, too?", Key asked, receiving a nod from Onew. "He may be like that, but I love him with all my heart. He's like a little brother to us.", Onew kept his wide smile on his face. "so Kibum.. I want you to join our super happy family!!" "wait.. what?!", Key said, getting his mouth covered up by Onew. "shh!! I don't want them to hear. Oh! and your weird friend that likes to hit on my little Taemin, too!"

"Don't you think this is a-" "no! you seem nice and just imagine how happy you'll be~", Onew tried convincing Key and... "ugh, fine!" "Now all we need is your friend!!", Onew jumped up. "I'll call him later.", he said, Onew nodding in agreement.

"but remember! A family doesn't keep secrets from each other!". Key sighed and pulled Onew outside of the bar. "Really?", he sighed. "Yes yes! You can always tell me even though we don't really know each other!", Onew smiled. "Well then.. uhm okay, so let's just say that me and Jonghyun had a sleepover-ish thing. When I tried to wake him, he mumbled something-" "what did he mumble?!", Onew interrupted, getting hit by Key, but it wasn't a hard hit.

"Be patient!! He said 'I love you, Kibum', and I wanted to ask if you know anything!", Key looked straight at Onew's eyes, getting no response. "Do you?" "I-I don't know anything!", Onew said, hiding his suspiciousness. "Please tell me!!", Key said, pretending to be extremely sad, almost tearing up. The "tears" were pretty visible. "Don't cry!! I'll tell you what I know!", Onew said, hugging him. Key sneaked in a smile during the hug. That trick always worked.

"Is that the guy you like, Hyung?", Taemin asked Jonghyun, as they were both cleaning up tables. When he was about to answer the question, Key stormed in, dragging poor Onew. "Kim Jonghyun, we need to talk.", Key said in a really serious tone. "Okay..", he replied as he walked to Key. The both of them started to walk outside.

"What did you want to talk about, Kibummie?", Jonghyun smiled. Key felt so nervous, he didn't know why. "Actually.. N-Nevermind!!" "you have to tell me!", Jonghyun pouted. Oh no.. it wasn't just a pout this time. It was also his signature puppy eyes.

Key had to tell him. "So.. when you were sleeping, you might've said something that made me think.", Key tried to avoid eye contact with Jonghyun. "I didn't say anything wrong right?!" "No, you didn't. It was actually something.. nice." "Then what was it?". Key stopped for a bit and inhaled, then exhaled. "You said that you loved me.."

Jonghyun had a nervous smile on his face. "Was that true?", Key asked him. "It.. was.", he admitted it. Jonghyun couldn't lie to Key. "so.. do you have feelings for me? Be honest and tell me the truth.", said Key, trying to keep a blank expression. This was a perfect time to tell him.

"I have feelings for you, Kibum."
