i woke up this morning feeling pretty good about the day. the first day of summer break. it's been a pretty tough year. i really need this. i got out of bed and of course, my phone starts ringing. my two best friends, anna and mia, are housepartying me.
me: "hey girlies"
anna: "did you just wake up? how do you look so good ally wtf"
me: "stfu you're gorgeous"
mia: "ur both gorgeous. now shut up we gotta tell you something"
me: "what?"
anna: "okay okay just promise you won't freak out?"
me: "omg just tell me"
anna: "eli invited us all to char's house"
me: "he wut"
mia: "ITS AWESOME RIGHT"
me: "wait wait wait. the charles gitnick?"
anna: "ya?"
me: "charles gitnick as in like joey birlem's charles gitnick as in joey birlem's best friend charles gitnick?"
mia and anna: "YES OH MY GOD ALLY"
me: "when"
anna: "today in like 3 hours"
me: "WHAT?! U EXPECT ME TO GET READY NOW?! IM A MESS"
mia: "you literally look like you're about to go model for a company. you look perfect"
me: "the joey birlem. the actual joey birlem. i mean it's not like i've been in love with him since i was 13 right? no no i totally didn't have a fan account for him."
anna: "ehem we*"
me: "bye i have to go i have a lot to do i'm gonna cry omg literally just fall inside a hole thank you very much goodbye"
and just like that, i ended the call. i might pass out.
