"Should I go with this dress or this dress?"

Hanna asked wearily.

She was a complete fashionista and had to look perfect to every event.

" you'll look beautiful in either one!"

Kaitie-Ann said rolling her eyes.

We had been going over this with her for about 30 minutes now.

"Fine I'll go with the coral one!"

We entered the school for the school dance and found an open table. We sat down and looked around.

They always went all out for the school dances.

They're were pretty center pieces in the middle of each table and a big DJ table with a dance floor.

We all got up and made our way to the dance floor.

It was about half way through the dance when my phone started ringing.

"Hello?"

"Cambrie I'm coming to get you right now! Go wait outside right now I'll be there in a minute!"

Then the line went silent.

It was my sisters and they sounded distraught.

I ran outside just in time to see our little Nissan pulling up in high speed. I jump in and tart asking questions immediately.

"What's going on?! Is everything ok?!"

"No! Dad is really badly hurt! We have to get to the hospital now!!"

No other questions were asked as we sped away to the hospital.

When we got there my mom was in the waiting room crying harder than I've ever seen her cry.

She explained what happened through tears.

My dad was working in the yard when a drunk driver came speeding towards the house. My dad was hit immediately and the car went through the front of the house. My dad then went into a coma and the house was destroyed.

The nurse finally let us come in and see him.

It was horrifying. I had to step out of the room before I burst into tears. He was really hurt. His legs were broken, and 4 of his ribs including his neck.

They didn't know if he would survive, but they were trying everything they could to bring him back.
