ARIANA'S POV

it's sunday afternoon and i haven't exactly left my house since the whole incident happened.

of course my friends have been checking in on me and blowing up my phone.

my brother noticed i've been acting a bit strange and i don't blame him for thinking that because i have been.

i scrolled through instagram watching short makeup videos until i heard my brother begin to yell.

"ariana the door" i rolled my eyes and rolled out of my comfortable bed.

i walked downstairs and swung open the door revealing joanna and stassie.

"you can't be stuck in here forever so we are taking you shopping" stassie said crossing her arms as she walked into my house.

"really shopping?" i asked scratching my head which caused joanna and stassie to smile like a bunch of idiots.

"yes shopping so go get ready cause guess who's going to be at the mall" joanna said wiggling her eyebrows i looked over at stassie who was smiling.

"no idea" i said as a made my way up the stairs "billie is going" joanna said i stopped in my tracks and turned around and saw them smiling like idiots once again.

as i was applying my mascara i thought about billie and that night everything went down the way she held me in the car and made me feel the safest i've ever felt in forever.

"ariana hurry up everyone is waiting for us" stassie said breaking me out of my thoughts.

the drive to the mall was quick i'd be lying if i said i wasn't nervous to see billie again she's extremely attractive and extremely intimidating.

we walked near the entrance of the mall and saw everyone waiting for us i looked around for billie and saw her smoking a blunt.

she looked up and we made eye contact she handed the blunt to a red haired girl not breaking eye contact which me.

"alright let's head in" jack said grabbing onto stassie who was smiling at him god she's so into this dude and i don't understand why.

i walked next to joanna who was on the phone with her mother suddenly i felt someone put there hand on the small of my back which made me tense up and freeze.

i turned around and saw billie i'm guessing she noticed me tense up and she removed her hands and raised them up.

"shit i'm sorry" she said i let out a breathe i didn't even realize i was holding in.

"no it's okay it's just you know" i said pushing a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"it's alright beautiful you don't gotta talk about it" she said i gave her a smile and nodded my head.

"thank you for friday night" i said looking down god why was i so nervous around this girl i don't even know her that well.

"if i didn't bump into you he would have grabbed me and done worse than what he already did" i said as my voice cracked.

i felt her pull me into a hug and i hugged back almost immediately "i mean't what i said in the car" she said i looked up at her with a confused face.

"that nobody else is going to hurt you again" she said i gave her a smile and felt my eyes start to tear up i cleared my throat and dried up my eyes.

BILLIE'S POV

i saw as ariana ordered ice cream with her friend joanna god ever since that night all i could think about is her and protecting her and just making sure she's safe.

i felt someone cover my eyes i grabbed them and threw them off me and turned around and there stood my ex girlfriend camila with a big smile plastered on her face.

"did you miss me?" she asked as she wrapped her hands around my neck i didn't hesitate to remove them she gave me a confused look.

"camila how many times am i going to tell you to stay away from me" i said in an angry voice all she did was laugh and roll her eyes.

"come on baby you don't mean it" she said getting closer to me so close she began to play with my chains.

as soon as i was going to say something i was interrupted by a soft angelic voice "billie" i turned around and saw ariana i couldn't help but smile as she was walking towards us.

"oh sorry am i interrupting something?" she asked stopping in her tracks.

"no" i said only to have camila say "yes" with an attitude i saw ariana start to back away but i grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to me.

"i'll be with you guys in a bit" i whispered to her i pulled back and she gave me a small smile and she walked back to everyone.

"damn you already got yourself a new girlfriend?" camila asked i looked back at her and she crossed her arms in annoyance i rolled my eyes "that's none of your concern camila" i said looking at her dead in the eye.

"i hope you know she's got a new enemy" she said as she flipped her hair and walked away.

fuck i thought to myself.

after about a good hour i completely pushed what camila said aside as ariana was dragging me into her favorite store.

i watched as she looked through the clothes she looks so beautiful like she really makes it look effortless i needed to make this girl mine.

"billie are you okay?" i heard her ask i shook out of my thoughts and looked into her eyes and gave her a smile and nodded my head.

"i should be getting home i have school tomorrow" she said while pouting i couldn't help but laugh at her cuteness.

"if you want i'll drop you off home" i said she smiled and nodded her head.

"let me say bye to the girls" she said i nodded my head and she quickly ran to her friends.

i looked around and saw camila with the one and only diego she whispered something into his ear and he turned to look at me with a nasty smirk.

i kept replaying what camila said earlier she definitely told him which means he's going to tell chase.

chase and me have a bad history we have been rivals ever since i started in this business and knowing me and him this feud will never die.
