"Rin, you look so cute in that sweater!" The blonde haired girl gasped upon arriving in her math classroom, sitting down at the two seated desk. "Where did you get it from?" She exclaimed a bit too loudly, causing some heads to turn their way. The said girl meekly smiled at her friend's compliment and replied to the eager female.

Rin was quiet and reserved and was vastly different from her best friend, Elle—a bubbly, extroverted student adorned with her dyed light blonde locks. And at first glance, you would have never guessed that these two would get along. But because of Elle's perseverance (or stubbornness some might call , she kept popping up in Rin's life until they were friends.

The chipper girl also had a long history of attracting unwanted attention and was currently adding to it. Their teacher had stood up moments earlier waiting for his class to settle down and was now irritated at the fact that one student in particular just wouldn't keep quiet. Obliviously rambling about her weekend antics, Elle didn't seem to notice Rin's wide-eyed, anxious poking about the mockingly impatient stare her teacher had fixed on her. "And then, I read this really, really good fanf-"

"ELLE," A booming voice sounded from the front of the room, startling the girl. "Would you like to tell everyone about your weekend?"

"Uh... No. Sorry." Wincing at what just happened, she reluctantly directed her attention to the teacher.

"...Okay. Before you finish up working on the assignment, I would like to notify you all about the new schedules most of you will be getting during the last period. Those who receive the paper will be switched to a different class for at least one course and some may have the order of their courses changed."

Sets of short-lived cheers and groans were heard in response. "This is the last period that you guys have to work on the assignment due to the schedule being changed. I advise you guys not to waste any time and get to it."

Throughout the day, people were expressing their opinions on the recent news and anticipating the end of the school day to receive their schedules. And surely enough, Elle gave Rin something to listen to during lunch, then parted ways for the afternoon. "Elle seemed pretty excited for the new schedules. Hopefully, we're both going to be in the same class again."

When the schedules were finally handed out, the noise level significantly rose as students were going around to see who would be in their classes the next day.

"H-hey, Rin." A barely audible voice called out and lightly tapped the brunette on her shoulder. She turned around in her seat to face Takuma, a classmate whom she shared several of her classes with. Seeing that it was him, she wore her signature humble smile.

She recalled that a few weeks back, she had decided to regard him as a friendly acquaintance but she still couldn't wrap her head around why he often bothered to make an effort to converse with her despite her reclusive personality.

"Can I see your schedule for a second? ...Just wondering if I have classes with anyone I know." He actually didn't receive a new schedule himself and hoped that she hadn't noticed. Nodding, she handed the sheet of paper to him and placidly watched as he read her schedule.

SEMESTER 1 TIMETABLE: RIN HANA

PERIOD 1 - ENGLISH

PERIOD 2 - MATH

PERIOD 3 - BIOLOGY

PERIOD 4 - PHYSICS

Takuma internally cursed the school and was trying to contain his anger. He now had one less period with her because of the unfortunate reorganization.

The girl felt that he was put off by the schedules and sympathized with him. She wasn't too fond of the change herself, knowing that she once again had to adjust herself to new classmates. He forced a smile as the bell sounded at the end of the school day. "...Um, thanks. I'll see you tomorrow then."

After the agitated male had finished packing his bag at his locker, his eyes naturally wandered to a certain locker down the hall. Hovering over the Rin was a certain conspicuous blonde, who he took note: was overly clingy and bothersome.

"Tch. How the hell did this loud ass chick become her friend anyways? Rin deserves more than that gyaru trash," The boy continued to carry bitter thoughts as he exited the high school after the pair. Everyday, he would slowly pace his steps to follow Rin from a distance, blending in with the other students who also took this route home. Currently, he was eavesdropping as the two girls exchanged their course schedules. Having learned that he would be sharing three of his classes with that incredibly irritating blonde, he was furiously steaming behind them. Just before the two girls arrived at Rin's street, Takuma stopped walking and waited for them to reach her house. Once the dark haired girl disappeared behind her house's door, he coldly watched as he blonde disappeared around the corner.

Takuma was about to head back to his own home when a voice scoffed from behind.

"Yeah, honestly, I can't judge you because I can't say that I have a life either but you know, I wouldn't recommend stalking people to their house every single fucking day."
