I run upstairs and run to my bedroom. I throw myself onto my bed and clutch a pillow, and start bawling.

Tears flood out of my eyes like a river, feeling my heart completely fall apart.

---Flashback---

"Y/N." My dad says as I walk through the living room.

"Yeah dad?"

"Come sit down." He says quietly, nervousness obvious in his voice.

"Is everything okay." I ask sitting down on the couch next to my dad.

"Your mother, you know how she's been in the hospital the last couple of weeks, because of her cancer?"

"Yeah." I say worry building up inside me.

"Early this morning, I got a call..." His voice trails off.

Suddenly I know what he's getting at.

"No." I say starting to panic.

"She passed away Y/N." My dad says tearing up.

---End of Flashback---

I hear a knock at my door and ignore it.

"Y/N it's Gus." I hear a familiar voice call from outside the door.

"Come in." I say weakly.

"Hey baby, how you doin'?" Gus says quietly when he comes in.

"Not the best." I say through tears.

He sits down on my bed behind to me and rubs my back.

"I know baby I'm sorry. But I'm here. I'll always be here." He says stroking my hair.

I turn to face him, my eyes red and filled with tears. Gus wraps his arms around me and pulls me into him, holding me against his chest.

"Everything is gonna be okay babygirl. I'm here. I'm always right here." He says kissing my head.

I wipe tears from my eyes and look up at him.

"You know, you're still stunning even when you're crying." He says smiling.

I smile weakly and he leans in and kisses my lips.

I kiss back, pushing his blonde hair out of his face.

"I love you Y/N." He whispers when he pulls away.

"I love you too."
