Matt woke up, sleepily he rolled over and shut off his alarm. 7:00am just as he woke up every morning. He got up, as he went to the shower he realized something was missing. Emily. She was gone.
"EM?" He called. No response. Matt walked around the house. ''EMILY?" still no response. Matt stood in the kitchen of their apartment. "She must've gone to grab coffee" he thought, "or went to the studio or something." He got in the shower. Once he finished in the shower he noticed something. Sitting on her bedside table was her cell phone.. and a note.
Dear Matthew, I have taken Emily. She is now mine. Locked away forever with her father. They are outcasts in Toyland, like they always should have been. I have taken over. In time you will be my King, Toyland will then be ours. We will rule together as one. Don't try and save her, just be my king, it will work out better for the both of us.

"What in the actual fuck of fucks...?" Matt said aloud, rolling his eyes and crumpling the paper. Walking to the kitchen he realized he spent longer than he should've in the shower and reading that note emily left, it was already 8:00 and he had to go meet Josh at the studio. 'Fuck' he said grabbing his keys and rushing himself out the door of their apartment. But just as he stepped outside someone yelled his name. 'Oh Matt!!" a woman's voice called. He turned around to see who it was but before he could, he felt something smash on top of his head and he was out cold.
