Helplessly Satisfied

Finally I get to go home. Today was a two show day so I'm really tired and ready to see Alexis.

I unlock the door and walk in to see him walking out. With someone beside him. 

"Whose she?" I ask him laying my stuff down in our apartment we share.

"I'm his girlfriend. Who are you?" She says. Girlfriend? But I'm his girlfriend.

"Megan can you give us a minute?" He asks her. She kisses hi cheek and walks out the door.

"That's your girlfriend? She's pretty." I say going to our room.

"Where are you going?" He asks following me.

"I'm getting my stuff so you can share our apartment with her." I yell at him.

"Your never home. I never see you. What am I suppose to do, just sit her by myself?" He yells back at me.

I shove all my clothes in the suitcase and walk around the apartment grabbing everything else that belongs to me.

"If you wanted to see me you could've came and watched me. You've never seen Hamilton, and everyone else has their boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, and wives that support them and bring them flowers. You have never even gotten me a present. You forget my birthday every year! So here's some advice, remember her, love her, and do what you can to spend time with her, or else you might be in my shoes!" I yell at him feelings unwanted tears escaping my eyes.

"Where are you going to go?" He asks.

"I'll figure something out." I tell him and slam the door in his face.

I run down stairs and out the door until I see Megan. I actually feel bad for her. She was caught up in this and didn't even know she was being cheated on like me until now. I wonder how long they have been dating.

"How long have you and Alexis been dating?" I ask her before I leave. "About two years. You never said who you were." She tells me

"I'm Alexis's now ex-girlfriend we were dating two and a half years. I'm the girl that he cheated on with you." I tell her and she looks absolutely shocked.

"He cheated on you! I'm so sorry I broke up your relationship! I am going to leave him, too."

"Thank you, and don't think it's your fault I got to see the person he really is now." I tell her and walk away.

Once I get on a different street I take out my phone and look through my contacts for someone I can call and ask to stay with for a while. My first contact is Alexis and I delete him immediately.

I look through everyone and I don't think I can stay with anyone of them. They either have people that live with them, doing stuff tonight, or don't have enough room for me.

Then I see Phillipa. I'll call her, she is my sister and us sisters have to help each other out. I push the call button and wait for her to answer.

"Hello?" She says.

"Pippa. This is Renee. I'm looking for a place I can stay I was wondering if you have any room?" I ask her crossing my fingers.

"Of course I have room for you. But what happened with the apartment you and Alexis are sharing? Is he coming too?"

"No, no, I sure hope he's not there. I'll explain to you when I get there, Thank you." I tell her.

"Your welcome." She says and then tells me her address.

"I'll see you there."

"Bye." She says and then I hang up.

I say the address over and over in my head so I don't forget it.

"Renee." She gives me a hug as I walk through the door. She has a small house and it's really nice. It is decorated beautifully. "I love your house."

"Thank you. Now sit down we need to talk." She says walking toward a sofa.

"What happened between you and Alexis?"

"He cheated on me because he said I was never home and he never saw me." I tell her really quickly to get it over with.

"That jerk! Whose the girl?"

"She said she was going to break up with him too. Her name was Megan and she was really pretty. A lot prettier than me." I tell her.

"I don't think it's possible to get prettier than you." She says laughing. "Thank you."

"Do you want me to help you unpack?"

"No, I think I got it but could you show me my room?" I ask her.

"Yeah, follow me." She says and then carries my suitcase for me. 

The room has a bed, dresser, and a closet. "This is your room. My room is next door, I'm going to get some sleep that second show wore me out." She says walking out the room.

I unpack all my stuff and put it where it is suppose to be and then I finally get to lay down.

I don't think of Alexis but of Pippa. She was right there when I needed her. I knew I could trust in her to help me and listen to me.

After thinking of her I finally drift into sleep.
