You know, when you open the app you unlock a cornucopia of ideas and people and...manipulation. Not bad ones, or noticeable ones, but they exist all the same. You open a story and the author has you by the teeth, making you beg for the next part, saying to call you a name.
This name has a very specific role to play. It is their title, a mask, a skin they pull over themselves that gives them power. I am Kass. And it gives me strength.
The mystery of it lends to the story as well. No mysterious author, no interesting story, you see?
