Third person POV

Shiro never walked away from the door he stood outside and heard Keith cry. It killed him, little did he know Keith was crying because he was inflicting pain on himself. Keith never planned for all of this to end up this way. He didn't want to fall in love with Lance. But it's almost like he's always known he would.

Meanwhile Lance was in the kitchen talking to Pidge.

"Why did you ask me if Keith was hot Pidge?" Lance asks.

"Oh...uh no reason..." says Pidge obviously lying.

"Come on stop lying to me..." Lance says obviously annoyed because no one seems to be telling him anything today.

"Lance you wouldn't underst-" Pidge is in the process of saying when Shiro yells.

Shiro heard Keith fall and he ran in to a scene he never expected to see ever again. He's yelling for Allura or anyone that can run Keith to the healing pods.

Lance is running faster than he ever thought he could, always wanting Shiros approval he wanted to be first one there, until he sees what's wrong.

He freezes in the door frame absolutely taken back, then he realizes what he has to do, he grabs Keith gently holding him bridal style and runs for the healing pods

Lance makes it as he rushed Keith into one of pods.

He closes the pod as it starts taking the medical data of Keith to analyze what it has to do to heal him.

It shows us more than Lance could see, more than any of them expect Shiro knew.

Old cuts and healing scars littered over Keith's body.

Lance couldn't stand the sight of it and burst into tears.

He never spoke of it but Veronica his sister that he loved with heart used to be suicidal and he could never hear or talk about the topic without crying or getting angry.

Lance is crying against the pod covered in Keith's blood getting it on his iconic army green jacket with the white hood and orange stripes, not even caring is probably not going to wash out.

The rest of voltron, Allura, and Coran arrive to the pods only to see Lance breaking down.

Hunk knew Lance for a while and completely understood why he was so upset. It never meant to come up but Hunk was just so easy for Lance to talk to. He's such a good listener and he puts other people's problems before his own.

Hunk goes to lance and sits next to him and pulls him into an embrace. Lance leans into Hunk and let's himself break down in-front of everyone.

Lance is sobbing on Hunks shoulder not knowing how to feel or what to do. He already knows he's going to have lots of explaining as to why he got so upset.

He almost lost his sister he can't loose his...his...friend..?
