Walking into the bar she looked around seeing if she could find the man she was supposed to meet. She stared at the picture in her gallery once more but didn't see anyone with his description in the bar. It was wild as usual; people getting wasted, the drugs, the deafening music and the rookies puking everywhere. The bouncer came in and threw the kids out. Most of them looked sixteen and a few looked eighteen. Her age mates-twenty three, were in the laps of huge men with chains around their necks.
She sighed taking a seat behind the counter and ordered for an Old Fashioned. She downed it quickly and ordered for another.
"I haven't seen a lady who can down one like that in years." A voice said. She looked up recognizing him. "I'm George, it's a pleasure." He said holding out his palm. She shook it with a smile. "Adele. It's a pleasure." He sat down beside her. "I know it's a lot of tension but I want you to be okay." He said with a smile. "So are you married?" Adele asked. He nearly chocked on his drink. "I assume that's a yes." She said laughing. They both laughed and talked for hours enjoying each other's company. Suddenly the song Closing Time hit and Adele asked if he'd like to dance. He smiled and agreed and they danced.
They entered the hotel room together laughing their heads off. "Did you see that woman?" Adele asked. "She looked like she was going to explode!" George said laughing. The fell on the bed and stared at the ceiling. "I know this is just an arrangement but I really like you." George said. Adele smiled. "I know. I feel the same way. I don't mind if you're fifty-five and I'm twenty-four." He turned staring into her eyes. "Are you sure?" He asked. She looked deeply into his. "Yes." She said kissing him tenderly. He took of her clothes slowly admiring her curves and her thighs. He smirked kissing her passionately. They made love passionately.
When she opened her eyes and looked at the clock, it was one in the morning. She got up, put on her slacks and her tee-shirt. She tore a piece of paper from the notebook and wrote a note. She kissed him and left. The cold hit her skin causing her to cringe when she stepped out. She walked briskly in the alley. The streets were practically empty. She saw cabs regularly moving around but very few people were around. She heard a strange noise causing her to turn her head. She looked behind but no one was there. She started walking faster. She heard footsteps drawing closer but each time she turned, there was no one there. She stopped abruptly turning to look behind again. Her arms were folded to her chest but no one was there. She sighed. Her heart pounding as she turned back. He stood there-in front of her. "Hey sweetie. Leaving so soon?" He asked. He had a deadly look in his eyes. It creeped her out. Her heart started palpitating. "You..." She said. He smirked. She saw the gun in his pocket. "I think we have some unfinished business." He said in a hoarse tone. She took a step back and turned to run. "Big mistake." He said chasing after her. She run in the alley screaming as he advanced towards her. She pushed the trash can towards him but he kicked it out grunting like a beast. She turned to a dead end and turned to see his eyes darker than ever with a malignant look in his eyes. She gulped down as realization hit her. He was going to kill her. He grabbed her neck squeezing it as hard as he could. Her face turned red and she was coughing trying to break free. She looked up into his eyes. Her's were red with fear and tears. He smiled. The sadistic look in his eyes. Then he snapped her neck back;killing her instantly.
