Chapter 17 ~ I am Strong

**SADIE'S POV**

I was in the room with Matt and Aaron. Matt hasn't woken up yet and it's really starting to scare me.

He had surgery and they got the bullet out and luckily it didn't hit his heart. He is in ICU, he has a face mask on to help his breathing, an IV in to keep the meds going, and a couple broken ribs.

I held his hand and started to talk to him. "Hey babe, I know you are very strong. Please wake up so I can see those dashing brown eyes."

I started to cry.

"Matt you are my everything, my entire world. You always make me feel better and are always here for me when ever I need it. So please babe wake up so I can hear your groggy morning voice. So I can have a future with you! I love you!"

**MATT'S POV**

'I was standing in a dark place and I saw the light. I was pushing so hard to not go into it. I want to wake up' is all I thought.

I opened my eyes and saw Sadie. She pulled me into a tight hug, "I'm so glad you're okay!" She said into my ear.

"Hey bro!" I heard from Aaron across the room.

"Wassup. What'd I miss?" I said.

"Nothing much. Amber died, Taylor ran away, you got shot, Sadie and I have lived here for the past day." He said.

The doctor came in and said I have to stay for 3 more days because I'm not ready to leave yet. Then I have to go in for questioning about what happened.

Wait did Aaron say she died and Taylor ran away?
