Chapter Føur - Clues

"I want to say, this might be the crime scene." I agreed with Sehun, but we have to first find out. We first went in the living room, if this was the crime scene, this may be the most spotless scene I've seen. We put on our gloves and shoe covers, we didn't want to leave or destroy the evidence.

"It seems there were no signs of struggle, physical actions, it's like the victim knew the murderer." explained Mai as she wandered around looking.
I open the bathroom door, like the living room it was spotless, nothing was touched.
"The kitchen is spotless too." shouted Sehun.
"Then there's only one spot." said Mai.
"The bedroom." We all in unison said, we headed towards the end of the corridor and tried opening the door.
"Damn, it's locked from the inside." Inside? Then how did the murderer get out?
"Hm, then the murderer should of jumped out the window and escaped!" Said Mai, that is a probability. Sehun kicked the door open, for a second I was scared and worried, on the floor laid Rosette, not moving, frozen, pale.
"Theres no blood, its a clean murder..." I did a silent prayer and examined her body.
"Sorry Rosette." I whisper.
"Ughhhhh, why would a stupid game turn into a bullshit prank, taking innocent people's lives?!" Mai was frustrated, but scared, she was scared to die.
I looked at her neck there was a visible red mark on her neck, a line wrapping around the neck.
"She was strangled to death." I exclaimed, Mai and Sehun glanced and looked at the red mark.
"Now we have the reason of death, we should look for the murder weapon and how the murderer escaped."
I looked closely and saw that it wasn't one line, but two thin lines making one thick one. I looked around and saw a lot of music records, CDs, albums and then I saw a cable from an amplifier, it has two cables making one thick one, I grabbed it and compared it to the mark, it matched perfectly.
"Guys, I think I found the murder weapon." I held the cable up.
"Great, but there should be some struggle if she was strangled right?" Sehun was right there was no sign of struggle.
"LOOK!" Mai held up a statue of a music note, she probably won a competition.
"Uh, nice statue?" Mai was on the urge of exploding.
"No, I mean look here." She pointed on the edge of the statue, there was a faint smudge of blood, Sehun quickly reacted and examined for a spot where she could of been hit, then he lifted her head when theres a faint blood mark.
"So, she was knocked out and then strangled. This murderer is skilled, we can't get caught of guard." We all agreed, but how did the Murderer get out? The windows were locked from the inside, so was the door.
"Ughhhh, how did that murderer get out?!" Mai complained. I glanced over to Sehun seeing him looking at a string necklace that was on the window ledge.
"I think I know how the murderer got out." Sehun began demonstrating, he stepped onto the ledge and opened the window, the window had a latch that kept it shut, he looped the necklace around the latch, he stepped outside the window and closed the window, he wiggled the necklace and then when successful the latch fell on the hook and the window was shut, Sehun figured it out.
"Woo!!! Great job Sehunnnnn!!!!!" We let him back in.
"We just have to find the other necklace, its a friendship necklace, the charm had the word 'FRIENDS', so the other should have 'BEST'.
"So we just have find the clues from the witness right?" Sehun nodded.
"Lets go to Mai's evidence first." We agreed and got up, then Mai stumbled and accidentally turned on the TV, a video started playing.
"PLEASE HELP ME, THIS GAME ISN'T WHAT YOU THINK, ITS HORRIBLE, I DONT WANT TO DIE, PLEASE SOME-" The recording was cut short.
"Um..." we all stayed silent, this game... isn't a game anymore...
"Look at Rosette's hand" We looked at her hand, it had a imprint 'a infinity sign'.
"I think thats the Murderers sign." Mai suggested.
"Ye-" I got cut off when 3 people came in, one of them was Chanyeol my cousin, then Kyungsoo and Zoe, I believe.
"So you found the crime scene before us, nice." Chanyeol said and then looked at me. Our bracelet suddenly started beeping and a hologram popped up.
'WARNING 5 SECONDS UNTIL ROUND OVER'
"Uhhh..." we panicked then everything went black.

I felt like I heard someone moving then I opened an eye and saw a wide eyes staring at me, it was Mai's eyes, her soulless eyes. I screamed then the others woke up, Mai was killed... it was one of us... I remembered that I had to vote... I don't have enough clues, I need to be quick... or more will die...
