Part 1

First night:

Once upon a time, there was a man who lived and died. A rich man, a smart man. He was held among the people as the greatest man ever. His name was Gavoth.

Gavoth stared out the enormous window. Gavoth watched as people passed by his mansion.

"They are peasants. Disgusting. They could serve me. And if they don't serve me I could make them die an early death. They will work for me. Oh wait they already do," thought Gavoth. He smirked. How happy that made him!

"Mathew! Get in here!" yelled Gavoth. His servant ran into his room and bowed.

"Y...yes, sir? How may I be of help?" asked Mathew. Gavoth noticed that Mathew wouldn't look up at him.

"Look at me when I'm speaking to you. You an insolent fool!" Gavoth sneered down his nose at Matthew. What a worthless fool. Why did he even have this lazy inebriant serve him?

"Yes, sir." Still looking at his feet Gavoth walked towards him but before he could grab the collar of Matthew's shirt a knock came at the door. Gavoth growled in annoyance.

"What!" yelled Gavoth.

A small voice answered, "Sir, the governor wants to see you immediately," said the girl who had opened the door. She was small and worthless, no help at all.

"Get out," growled Gavoth. The girl nodded and tripping over her feet in a hurry to get out she went away. Before she truly left the room she cast a sideward glance at the boy and gave an apologetic smile. She muttered something under her breath and the boy nodded.

"Now what?" muttered Gavoth. The boy stayed silent.

"No silent conversations!" growled Gavoth. The boy looked terrified. Good that will make him easy to control.

Part 2

Second night:

Mathew looked around to be safe. Good no one is there. He opened the chest in his personal rooms. Looking into it Mathew saw the object that laid there. There was a knock on the door. Mathew quickly locked the chest and put it under the floorboards.

"Come in!" he called. The door opened and in came the girl, Aoife. Mathew breathed a sigh of relief. It wasn't the master.

"Were you looking at the secret chest?" Aoife asked. He nodded.

"Well, it's good that I wasn't the master. He would have whipped us good if he found that we were hiding this in your room," said Aoife. Nudging her foot over the floorboards.

You're probably wondering what in the world is in the chest. Well... kind of hard to explain. It is a very rare artifact. Very powerful. Very dangerous. If Gavoth got his filthy hands on the artifact, then the world would be a pile of rubble in no more than ten days. Ya, it's that bad. The name of the artifact is Sialkot.

The Sialkot is basically a skull with intricate carvings. And it's wound with protective spells. If you get past the intricate carvings and survive the burning alive part. Oh wait that is for later but if you did survive the burning part then good for you. It gets worse as we go on. Much, much worse. Do I need to explain the excruciating pain from the spells? No? I thought not. Ok let's continue, it has so much power that if you touch it you'd be burned alive. And again if you didn't listen there are spells weaved in and out of the skull. These are to protect it from being broken. Or continued being stolen by some crazy guy! It is believed that to not be burned alive it needs to be picked up with gloves, that is why it is equipped with thick gloves.
