The time for the competition has arrived; Ignatius takes his seat as the contestants line up to pick a ballet out of a hat then are to type their number in a machine that will tell everyone who is facing who on the big screen. Out of all the guests only 12 of them had the guts to take the chance to live in glory or die trying. The first round shows up on the screen , it's Kotori a ninja assassin versus shinji a samurai assassin. "Those who are not fighting may choose to sit in the waiting room or in the crowd to watch the fight, those who will fight must wait for everyone to clear the battlefield and wait for the siren to sound " He explained with that the battle began shortly after. The ninja hid in shadow as the samurai sat down patiently in the moonlit floor at the center everything went quiet , but Kotori knew she had to take care of her target sooner than later. She slowly took out her blow dart tube with paralyzing darts, shinji could hear everything despite her caution. She took aim for his neck and shot at him, Shinji quickly layed flat on the ground and dodged it then stood up with his hand on the hilt of his katana. She now realizes her position has been compromised and goes for the killing blow with her ninja blade . Again he waited for her get close , at the last second he twirled around her and cut off her fingers holding the blade trying not spill a lot of her blood if possible. She flinched and threw down a smoke screen then a fuse bomb to erase the sound of her movements and it worked, Shinji was to occupied with the dodging the bomb he didn't think to listen to where she ran off to. The room was silent again but this time the samurai decided to look for her instead, he walks slowly into the darkness in the direction she was last seen . His sandles clunk as he walked and his sword still unsheathed from his counterattack , he heightens his senses as to find her with vibrations. Because she was so confident of her skills and was impatient she opened her bag to see what her options were but when she did he found her instantly. The samurai charges at full speed running on the tips of his feet, this startled Kotori and she started emptying her arsenal of blades at him. Shinji moves varieties of blades away from anything vital with his katana but still gets cut a few times and the poisons sink in but he is to pumped up to notice he's deing. With one thrust with his off hand to her neck he put the girl to sleep rendering her unable to fight . Shinji won the fight but he was fading fast as his skin was changing color from the poison Ignatius appeared in front of Shinji and snapped his fingers with that the poison forces its way out of his body tearing through his muscles. Ignatius sent the poison far away from there using telekinesis breaking the speed of sound and bounded his wounds thus saving his life. “Ladies and gentleman we have our first winner “ he declared as his voice echoed mysteriously throughout the arena even though he wasn't shouting and he didn't have a mic.
