Dylan's pov:
Just as we landed back to L.A,I was going to go back with Mia to her house but I really needed time to think about my feelings towards her.
"I'm going round luke' s for tonight".I said a little to blunt.
She just nodded at me and went in the taxi with a sad expression on her face.
I really wasn't gonna go to Luke's because Liz was gonna be their and I don't wanna be third wheeling.
I got into another taxi and made my way to my best friends house who I haven't talk to since I have been hanging around with Mia.
when I reaches at his door step I don't know what came over me but I suddenly started feeling nervous,but I just brushed it of and knocked on his door.
I waited for about 3 minutes and when I was going to knock again Jake's mum came and opened the door.
"oh what a lovely surprise Dylan,I haven't seen you in a long time!".Jake's mum screamed excitedly and hugged me.
"Is um Jake home?"I asked nervously after I released the hug.
"yes dear he is upstairs",Jake's mum replied.
I made my way up to his room and I knocked on his door.
Once.
Twice.
I was going to knock the third time when Jake opened the door and looked at me.
"what are you doing here?".Jake questioned with an angry look on his face.
"I'm here to meet my best friend".
"Now you have time for me,you have the guts to come to my house and act like were cool after a whole month".Jake spat harshly not breaking eye contact.
HE was right I didn't have the right to show up to his house unannounced and after a month.
"I'm sorry that I haven't talked to you for a month,is their anyway you can forgive me?".I asked pleading for his apology.
He didn't say anything just looked at me for a minute then finally said"your forgiven only if you tell me what is happening with you and Mia"
I sighed of relief.Jake and I talked about Mia and what I could do to make it official between us.
"last question,how do you feel about Mia?"Jake asked.
"She is special to me.She is the only one who I wouldn't mind losing my sleep for,the only one who I can never get there of talking to ,and the only one who crosses my mind constantly every single day.She is the only one who can make me smile without her even trying to.When I eat or sleep she is the only one that crosses my mind."
"Wow your in love dude,I have never seen you like this".
Jake told me what to do and I left his house and made my way to Mia's.
Before I left his house he told me to go to the flower shop to get some flowers.I quickly grabbed a punch of roses and headed to Mia's.
When I arrived at her house I got out of Jake's car and knocked on her door.
"good luck".Jake shouted from the car before he sped of.
I just nodded and waited for someone to open the door.
What seemed like minutes Mia,looking gorgeous as ever,came out of the door and looked at me.
From her face I could tell she was shocked to see me.
"I thought you were staying round at lu-".Mia started to question.I don't know what took over me but I just grabbed her waist and kissed her passionalty.
"What was that for?"she questioned after we both caught our breath.
"something I should of done a long time ago".I replied.
"what do you me-"Mia asked and I cut her of again.
"there is something I should of said to you before,this is harder than I thought".I said as I came closer to Mia and held her hand.
"When you moved in next door to me i was acting like a jerk.I was only doing that so you could hate me because I..i was falling for you and now I realised that I don't care about the consequences I just want you.All of you.All your flaws,smiles,your giggles,your sarcasm.You.I want you.Only you and the moment you moved next door to me I became the happiest man alive."I said staring into her mesmerising ocean blue eyes.Everything I had just said was true.
Mia started blushing,God she looks so adorable Out of embarrassment She put her head down.
I put my finger under her chin to make her face me and I whispered in her ear "don't look down I fucking love it when you blush"as I said that I kissed her again.
Just before Mia was about to lean for another kiss I stopped and asked her, "would you do me the favour of becoming my girlfriend?".
"um I don't know" She said.
"oh ok um well I'll um im going inside"I said sadly.To be honest I wouldn't expect her to be mine after all the things I have done to her.
As I was going inside Mia grabbed my arm and kissed me.
"of course you big goon,I'd love to"Mia said in between our kiss.
"now I get to call you mine"I whispered in her ear before we headed inside.
As we walked into Mia's house we saw her mum at the window and when she saw us she jumped up and started walking away.
"mum,where you spying on us?"Mia questioned with a smirk.
Well this is awkward.
"n...no",Mia's mum sluttered
Mia gave her a questionable look and she went away into the living room to avoid this awkward tension that had just filled in the room.
Me and Mia just looked at each Other and bursted out laughing.
"well um I'm going up to my room to sleep.I'm so jet lagged".She said as she was making her way to her room.
I grabbed her arm and asked"what about my goodnight kiss?"
"don't you think you had enough kisses?"she smirked.
"i could never get enough of you."I relied just before he leaned in to give me a kiss.
"good night" she said and just before she was going up to her room she put her hand through my hair and messed it up then started making her way to her room.
I was going to the kitchen to get something to drink when Mia started screaming saying "I'm freaking Dylan's girlfriend!!!".
I just laughed it of and went into the kitchen to grab my water.
When did I get so lucky?
