The job was simple. Go in drive the little princess around to where ever she wanted, get some weekends off, get payed $2,000 a week and get a small house in their property. No rent, meals included. The job didn't sound that bad, especially for a guy like me. A guy who needs to save every penny he can for collage. The only thing I needed to do was pass this interview.

"Mr.knight, Mr.Collins will see you now" the cute receptionist announces. I take a deep breath and button my button that has become undone.

"Ok,don't screw this up, don't screw this up" I chant to myself. I walk towards the receptionist, who is waiting for me to follow her. We go into a hall and she points me at a door.

"He's waiting in there, good luck." she turns around and leaves me standing in front of the door.

"Ok, you can do this Dustin, go in there and get this job." I take a deep breath and knock once.

"Come in"

I open the door and walk in. A tall man is sitting on his desk. As he sees me, he stands up and extends his hand to shake. I reach out and give a hard shake.

"I'm Dustin Knight, very please to meet you."

"John Collins." he says.

"Please take a sit Mr.Knight"

I take a sit in front of his desk. The room is fill with bookshelves of different kinds of books and what looks like very important files.

"I get that you are here for the job interview?" he folds his hands on his desk and gives me a hard look.

Mr. Collins is a a tough man. He is tall and buff, with ice blue eyes and brown hair. He seems like the type that shaves everyday to get that clean cut look. He's in his late 40s maybe early 50s but he is in great shape. He's terrifying and something about him screams boss.

"Yes sir that is correct."

He studies my face and leans back on his chair.

"Do you have any experienced in being a personal driver?"

I take a deep breath, I Knew my age could become a problem.

"I've never been someone's personal driver, no sir. But I have lived here since I was born, I know every corner of this city and I learned to drive at the age of twelve. I passed my driving test the first time with a perfect 100 at 16" I was also good at street racing during the weekends but I wasn't going to mention that to him. "I'm a pretty safe driver sir."

Mr Collins continues to study me.

"You said you passed when you were 16, was that like a few months ago?" he gives me a grin.

I try to smile back.

"No sir that was four years ago."

"Four? so you are 20 correct?"

"Yes sir I am." Mr. Collins continues to stare at me almost as if trying to put a puzzle pice together. He looks around his office and let's out a sigh.

"Look son, I must be crazy for considering you for this job. My daughter is my little princess, my only princess. She's only 17 and she deserves everything, her safety is the most important thing to me. So give me one good reason why I should hire you for this job?"

He's eyes become almost laser like. I become a little nervous, my whole college fund could be depending on this answer.

"Sir I know you think I'm too young for this job, but trust me when I say this. I will protect and care for your daughter. I'm a safe driver, maybe the safest out there, just give me one shot. That's all I ask for. Just one shot."

Mr. Collins sighs loudly.

"I must be crazy or maybe it's that all the other drivers quit that I'm so desperate to hire you. Maybe you can keep up with Layla unlike the rest. You're hire."

I break out into a smile, not believing my luck.

"Don't screw this up son, I don't give second chances. You're job is to take Layla to and from school. If she wants to go out you take her out, if she wants ice cream at two o'clock in the morning; you better drive her at that time. Basically wherever she needs to be, you will be in charger to take her. Understood?"

I space out for a second, Layla sounds like a handful. But I need this job, there's no other way around it.

"Yes sir. I understand."

"Great! Now go to Susan my receptionist, she will tell you at what time you start moving in tomorrow. You'll get your first paycheck next week."

And just like that I was hired. I walk out of Mr. Collins office and find my way to Susan.

"Susan?"

She looks up.

"Mr. Collins said you'll have the details to my job?"

Susan gives me a quizzical look.

"You got the job?"

I give her a charming smile. Susan writes down an address and a phone number on a card.

"Here's the address, be there by six a.m Layla starts school by eight so make sure you are moved in by 7:30

And get plenty of sleep, it's a Friday night tomorrow so be prepare."

"Thank you." I grab the note and turn to walk away.

"Mr.Knight?" I smile at how weird my last name sounds with the 'Mr.' she can't be much older than me.

"Please, call me Dustin" She smiles.

"Dustin, Good luck. You're going to need it."

I smile

"How much work can a seventeen year old be Susan?"

Susan only laughs.

"Oh you poor soul, you really have no idea on what you are getting yourself into."
